Saying that, they really were using him they just don’t want to believe it because they are using the “kindness/forgiveness” they gave him as an excuse to cover the fact they really were using him for their own benefit! Also think about everything he did to show them he cares for them and deserves to be trusted and the second they hear an audio they turn against him without an explanation BECAUSE they never trusted him in the first place and were ready to leave him the second he did anything wrong because they probably were going to leave him anyways the second he had no use to them and idc how much trauma or how hurt any of them are but they treat anyone who’s not in the music club as if their not human as if their lives don’t matter.
