- Pelican is a wonderful small fishing village in the northwestern part of Chichagof Island. it has the record for the longest wooden bridge (boardwalk) in the USA. The boardwalk was fantastic, with beautiful scenery and mountains, and everything is so pretty. The people are so friendly and helpful.
We had the best ever Bean Chilli meal at the local pub.
