One thing I can see the similarities between Ryu and Chun-Li is that both lost their love ones to their murders. And they vow to avenge them while striving to be the strongest. These two, along with Guile and E.Honda were my favorite fighters in SF2 arcade.
A.J Thomas. I usually pick Ryu. but indeed the ones you mention are great in their own way, I have the most trouble with Dhalsim, he's too slow for me. (I recorded fighting as him and I was reminded again why I never picked him! I'll post that video when it's ready) Chun-Li is a great character so a shame that movie didn't work out, perhaps Japan should make one themselves.
+henkman00 Since I did rewatch SF2 animated movie, I was kinda disappointed that Chun-Li get to the the very end to confront Bison, nor do Japan had ever bother to make a sequel. So I hope she'll get her chance to shine the live action Street Fighter World Warrior. And maybe explore her inner connection to Ryu and Ken.
akuma matata that depends on what system you want to play the game. it's out on Ps3, and X360 this version is only out on Switch. Ultra is essentially a Switch port of Remix, with some extras. 2 new characters, new modes like classic sprites and audio (this alone is a fun addition) an art book (accessible from the menu) 2 vs 1 mode custom character color maker and a mode that makes use of the joicons that I haven't tried yet. if you have a Switch then there's no bigger fighting classic than Street Fighter II. for me I like the extras. Remix didn't give that much aside from the main game but if it's only the gameplay you want and you can live without the extras then both versions are fine for that.

This art style is awful. What they did to the superb original graphics is vandalism
