If you actually check pencil is made of graphite not lead..... Lead is poision when injested hence not safe for daily use....

A small correction:the black coloured substance which is present inside the pencil is graphite-an allotrope of carbon and it is not lead.😁😁😁

Really inspired...thanks for change my point of view...clear my visibleness
very nice story for young kids , who need to erase lots to finally feel satisfied by their own expressions . once , they learn basics , they dont need pencil like painful sharpening , and use pen.
anyways , personally , i dont agree with comparing sharpening of pencil to painful learning .
but, some teachers know only that way .
hope, time will change , and such punitive teachers will disappear from the planet , as soon as everybody becomes wise .
