The moment i saw the title 'stabbing teep', i was thinking of something like Karate front kick/mae geri keage. Quick snapping motion instead of pushing. Great video.
Joseph israel there's only so many ways the human body can throw a kick. I was thinking the same thing at the beginning when he was saying stabbing teep I was like "so it's a front kick."
a front kick in thai is a teep, its the same thing - and has never claimed to be anything other. There's also variations, to the gut, to the solar plexus, ribs etc, also there are slight side on variations, there's a 'push' type teep to keep opponents away, some use the full foot, some use the toes etc - this is focusing on a 'stabbing' type technique to focus on damage rather than gauging distance. hope this makes sense.
Thank you very much. Can you make a video to show us a counter to these teep techniques like stepping on the side and throwing a straight or a sidestep elbow to the side of the head or a sidestep knee ? Thank you.
Si se gira el pie de Apolloa la hora de meter un Fronkick, la cadera se mete Completa y el Fronkick es mucho más duro y potente que sólo elevando la puntera del pie como hace el. Chico del. Video 👍👍
He needs to keep hit back foot flat on the ground to have any sort of balance or power in that teep. Doesn’t matter if it’s an offensive or defensive teep
Can't you see his standing leg is not planted well, this is an error for all teeps.....keep the standing leg firmly planted, it requires to be more flexible but gives more effectivity to the technique in actual combat when actually needing to stop someone from coming in and push them back ... your students is making basic error and you don't correct immidiately, so he will get bad form routined in....it's not good
