The tone of this film during certain scenes reminded me of Midsommar. Specifically, the way the kid almost mocked them by imitating their voices/conversations, and when Gemma descended into the multiverse of hell, saw another kid clapping while watching his parents have sex. Very uncomfortable film, but definitely worth the watch.
She was a treasure to watch. Great performance!
Yes she was wonderful
This movie fits right in with 2020.........
Why isn´t Senan being interviewed? He´s an extremely smart and talented kid...I´d like to see an Interview with him.
WOOF WOOF WOOF!
😄
PERFECT MOVIE FOR THIS TIME
Jim Jam yep.
Definitely
I love your pfp
NO. PERFECT FOR LIFE. THIS MOVIE IS ABOUT THE MATRIX AND HOW THEY PROGRAM US. I FUCKING LOVE THIS MOVIE. IT'S MY FAVORITE MOVIE OF ALL TIME. SHIT, I HAVE TO WATCH IT AGAIN. IT'S AWESOME!
I love the way she talks
You sure you dont like the weird alien boy voice better lol
Aaron Rodriguez definitely the alien voice
Best film I've seen in a while. Like a Magritte painting come to horrifying life with a good dose of Twilight Zone thrown in the mix as well as a touch of Charlie Kaufman/Spike Jonze. Visually mesmerizing and mysterious. This movie is PERFECT!
“SILLY MOTHER”
I AM NOT YOUR MOTHER
"Whateva"
WOOF WOOF
i promise watching this movie is way more of a hell than the reality it is trying to portray
Skidz1818 ikr
I randomly came across this movie and watched the whole thing with no interruptions. Now I’m just sitting here mind blown at 2 in the morning 🤦♂️
@@RainMk 😂😂😂 it does that to you
That's the idea.
It focuses on and exaggerates all of your greatest fears that could come of suburban life(hating your child, digging to an early grave, losing love of the present, being tossed away like trash).
Then it wraps it all up saying some vapid creature with a short lifespan could find a good home in all of it.
It was like watching a deep subconscious nightmare
hell yeah 😂
Measure Me!….Measure Me Measure Me!!
How u guys came.out from.yondor 😟
IAM FAIZAL is this a joke or an actual question from a child
i’m glad it’s a movie
It is funny because it's not a film, it's a reality.
It was a really great movie. I hope there is a sequel that will answer a lot of the questions that everyone has about the movie. Like a closer look at the aliens.
Imo I think Vivarium is best left as a standalone movie.
@@kikitata2985 me too 😂😂 i definitely dont want to watch a sequel.
0:03 true on what the interviewer said about this movie.
Its was different in a good way. Not a movie most people would understand unfortunately.
It not exactly subtle in its message. Lol
Explain me
@@johnzylali4002 he can't lol
@@MarvelousMusicmmusic 😂😂
It was a satirical metaphor for how life “happens” to you without your planning or understanding or being able to control it. Excellent take on the circle of life!
Imogen filmed some scenes in my hometown of Schulenburg, TX for a film called A Country Called Home, back in the mid 2010’s, I remember hearing about filming crews being there, and I wanted to be there to meet her and get a photo but they filmed during the day on a weekday and I couldn’t make it. However, the scene in the film where she goes to a general store is sure enough the downtown True Value store owned by a local family, so it was really cool to see a place I’ve shopped at since I was a kid in a movie!
Her voice
I will look at the film from New set of Eyes.In America we see are large part of movies from our perspective not from others view point. Many of the American reviews have the movie at low score on the quality of the film. They have missed the mark on this film. What is thought to be a fault is not what we In the US think it is.Frame of reference has to be changed to understand Vavarium clearly. What may seem as plot hole is not. It is the point!!! Great Video😎🤔😊
Good movie that's worth watching but not sure why she thought the film was long. it's just a 9minutes over the low average length of a movie these days (90mins to 120minutes) All the really great sci-fi movies are on the longer end of at least 120mins to 150 minutes. so you can get really pulled into the story and universe by building up the world and characters. I think Vivarium could have benefited greatly by the extra time expanding on their slow agonizing downward spiral trapped in their cage and the child they're forced to raise. The worst way to do it is like the recent movie Underwater (2020) A movie idea with tons of promise but the way they made it immediately jump straight to everything going wrong so you don't know the world or characters at all, and you don't care about them. While best example of getting it right would be Alien.
was this interview in No. 9 Yondar?
She's the female version of Jude Law
She's soooo much like him !
She is such a gorgeous girl. I admire her
I loved this film

I loved Imogen i this. Here's my review from Ireland: ruclips.net/video/FeoFnCyhk6U/видео.html
The most unrealistic thing about this movie was a woman as gorgeous as Imogen Poots being with nerdy Jesse Eisenberg.
This movie was dreadful. All this fancy dressing up and pomp is futile. Complete waste of time and resources.
Dude the whole movie had lk 5 actors and one of them was only there for five to eight minutes tops...if u can make a movie with those kinds of numbers for two full hours and make it still have suspense then u can say this movie sucks
@@haremking7256 I have made that movie and it did very well thank you. So again... this movie still sucks :)
You didn’t really provide reasons as to why it sucks though besides the vague label of dreadful. What was a waste about it? What didn’t you like? Surely you wouldn’t want someone to review your ‘movie’ and say “Hey this sucks. It’s a waste of time.” But provide you no real critique. Also, just for my curiosity, why comment and watch an interview of a movie you don’t like? Waste of time to watch, but not a waste of time to follow up on? If it’s so bad wouldn’t you wanna keep from it?
Via Agreed, I’ve seen so many movies worse than this. I would say very odd and different but it’s horror... it’s meant to either scare you or dig far deeper and make you feel unsettled. Remember the first Halloween film was rejected before a year after THEN it blew up to a massive success. Point is, when things are out of the rhythm of horror movie tropes we automatically think it’s bad. This movie is not perfect, don’t get me wrong, but I enjoyed it.
I loved this movie; thought it was very thought provoking, original, creepy and surreal. Speaking of a waste of time and resources id rather watch this any day of the week over the usual marvel stuff that gets shoveled to us every 6 months or so.
Literally this movie is shit
But there acting is superb
