Noooooo you didn't 🤣🤣🤣🤣 But tbh, although it's sad I'm seeking in these videos the love I never received (parents very much alive) it still calms me down a lot
It’s comforting tho, now that I think about it, I don’t remember my parents doing this thing for me so it’s a wonder what would it feel like to have a caring parent
I found this so comforting because you stayed calm even when "we" were saying no to basically every backpack. Usually parents get mad and say to make up our minds but you were understanding and kind about it which made me feel happy.
I really like how you didn’t sound or look annoyed after all those “No”, just a bit confused. It’s extremely comforting, especially coming from a household where parents often loose their cool in situations like these.
Fr my parents lose patience and want to go home after looking at 2-3 shops. This is why you need to go with an idea of what you already want- or even better, you buy it online w/o bothering anyone
I remember always getting a shit when I would need school supplies or to go shopping for things I needed. The fact that he’s super encouraging and he’s like, all right let’s go. It is honestly amazing.
This is so wholesome, but, it reminds me of this kid who was in my fifth grade class. He was Korean and his friends would sometimes make fun of him because he was taller and bigger. He wasn’t fat but not skinny. So we were discussing Valentine’s Day cards for people to bring for the class, and he asked our teacher, (let’s call her Mrs. Smith) “Do we have to bring cards and gift for the class?” And Mrs. Smith said no. So then he said, “Good because my parents can’t afford it.” AND OMG I felt so bad and wanted to cry. He was a really kindhearted kid, and I just felt so bad, man.
This made me cry 😭 I didn’t have a father growing up so I never got to experience stuff like this, thank you for letting me experience it even if it’s fake and through a screen 💜
Same 😭, growing up I never experienced this feeling with my father bc I don’t even know who he is, watching this made me happy, like u said even if it’s through a screen
Dear Korean Dad, could you read me or tell me a classic Korean bedtime story? Can you show me an image or illustration of said story? I would also like some Korean cookies with warm milk in bed please. Thank you. 🙇
I'm a grown ass adult, about to turn 31 and I find major comfort in your videos. I haven't had emotionally available parents my whole life and even though my dad is alive, you provide me even more emotional support than he does. Thank you for sharing your kind soul with us.
I love how you were nice and letting them have a choice and get to pick the one they wanted and “okay let’s keep looking” when they said no and didn’t say “I don’t care if you don’t want this one your getting it” and was just so nice about and actually cared about it what they liked & disliked instead of being mean and choosing one for them we need more parents like you in the world
I like that he's willing to listen to what his child wants. Most parents would take you to one store and say that you had to just accept what they could afford. The black Jansport is a good choice because all of the other kids are probably wearing cartoon or video game ones. You can always put pins or patches on it, like we did in the 80s 😁
I called on Your name, O Lord, From the lowest pit. You have heard my voice: “Do not hide Your ear From my sighing, from my cry for help.” You drew near on the day I called on You, And said, “Do not fear!” O Lord, You have pleaded the case for my soul; You have redeemed my life. Lamentations 3:55-58 🌅
you know, growing up without a dad (i later got a dad, but that was when i was 12) makes me really appreciate these videos. it oddly fills that void of never experiencing going to the store with my dad to buy things with him Thank you korean dad 💖
And they honor it! My zipper went after over 10 years. I really didn't expect them to do anything but I sent it. I received a postcard from my backpack saying how much fun it was having then a few weeks later got a box. They could not fix it and did not have the exact one so the upgraded me to a better on for free! Well worth it
Thank you Korean dad. This is healing my inner child... I rmb how I could never be able to choose the backpack I want for sch and it's always hand me downs.
Every time I see your face my eyes just lit up and I couldn't stop smiling. This is so nice. You are so patient to find us a bag we wanted instead of forcing us to buy a bag already TT
Your videos always make me feel better, I don't know if its how cheerful you are, or that you don't get mad about the little things, definitely cheers me up when I down
I am not Korean but I am a 28 year old woman born and raised without a father in my life still to this day I have yet to me or even see a picture of my own father so every time I come across your videos on my feed it lights up my face with a huge smile just thinking in my head hey maybe this dude put this video out for people like me who never had a Dottie it really puts a big smile on my face in these videos girl I don’t know if you make it for people like me but it really does make people like me feel a little bit better
Love DUPBAGY the way you show it! You really focus on showing off the bag. I don't think any other RUclipsr can show off bags in as much detail as you.
I have a kanken backpack rn that I use at school... I also had one back then before the pandemic starts👌I like how it's water resistant and holds my stuffs even though it's pretty small
same my dad would get mad at me prob when i say no the second time, he’d prob tell me “YOU NEED TO FIND A NEW BACKPACK SO WE ARENT CHECKING ANYMORE STORES SO JUST PICK ONE WE HAVE ALREADY LOOKED AT”
My dad would always take me shopping and get me what I wanted, even when money was tight. I’ll always remember that. This means everything to kids, and although they might not show it in the moment they will realize it when they get older ❤
Love that the kid settled for a Jansport. Brings back memories. I got myself a Jansport backpack while in college in Michigan...but that was way back in 1998. Cost me about USD 49.90 then but def worth every penny. The bag's still in good working condition and is with me now in KL, Malaysia.
Oh my god why was this so strangely comforting??? Is this the new asmr??? Pretend alive and caring parents???
Noooooo you didn't 🤣🤣🤣🤣
But tbh, although it's sad I'm seeking in these videos the love I never received (parents very much alive) it still calms me down a lot
Yep. Closest thing to a loving parent.
Not “pretend alive” 😭😭
Punched me right in the dick/feels
It’s comforting tho, now that I think about it, I don’t remember my parents doing this thing for me so it’s a wonder what would it feel like to have a caring parent
Yeah, really comforting when all your actual dad does is beat you up.
I found this so comforting because you stayed calm even when "we" were saying no to basically every backpack. Usually parents get mad and say to make up our minds but you were understanding and kind about it which made me feel happy.

I had the same backpack in gray. Best hand-me-down ever. Lasted through 8 years of high school in total!
8 years in highschool?
@@AcquiredNoob710 Multiple people used the bag. Hence "hand-me-down".
@@moderndaymedusa Oh ok i thought you did 8 yrs in highschool 💀
@@AcquiredNoob710 Hah! No, I actually graduated a year early. The bag just went through 3 kids.
@@moderndaymedusa Oh ok thats great
