I start my own collection in my yard too around 3 years ago but here in Florida is very hard to find sodium pressure or mercury vapor street light fixtures, electric companies are NOT selling or giving away any fixtures to the general public.
I found some online and some local people have on their barns or houses. Im currently have only 9 and I really like it.

As a temporary solution to have the pedestrian signals somewhat functional, you could tie their sequences to the vehicle signals.

You can get those pvc elbow junction box things for like $3 each if you need something to cover those screw terminals.

If you haven't finished your trenching for the cables the easiest way is to use one of those electric garden tillers, turn it sideways and pull it sideways and it makes a perfect u trough in seconds without having to use a shovel.

I have a hand shovel I trenched the other ones already by hand so that's what I'll do for the rest.
