As a hardcore lyricist fan, this album is great, I respect his opinion, but come on, most of Eminem's verses flew over people's heads. BTW, ''Bad Guy'' is an continuation of ''Stan''. Eminem, whether you like him or not, is still rapping some of the dopest bars/verses today.
Bradley Banford Em's rhyming skills are impressive at times however his lyrics tend to come out as corny. "My life would be so much better if you'd just drop DEAD I was laying in bed last night thinking and this thought just popped in my HEAD And I thought, wouldn't shit just be a lot easier if you dropped DEAD I would feel so much better" Dead, Head, Dead. That doesn't seem too impressive. Nice try champ! maybe explore the difference between a lyricist and a technical rapper buddy. Try google.
+DiiceForeveroO - Yeah, he has spit some corny shit at times, but who hasn't? Oh look, you've picked out a simple rhyme and used it as your point, congratulations genius. You acting like Eminem is the only rapper to write a simple rhyme.
i feel that if they redid this album, took out a few hooks, and changed the productions a bit.. this would be one of the best hip hop albums of all time
I hope this dude realised bad guy was a sequel to stan... And come on man! Stronger than I was, I liked it, reminded me of hailies song. Main thing I don't like about the album is there was a couple too many pop type hooks by random females, album would of been much stronger if he did the chorus himself on a couple of those tracks
I agree with you. I don't like him doing records with Rihanna, and shit. He should have done some songs with 50, Dre, Hopsin. With Rihanna it's to much pop
+SPFC2011 nah he respects lyrics more than anyone. eminems lyrical capability i feel was no present in this album he and we know he could have done much better.
and his singing tracks. I'm fine with him singing the hook like he had in Mockingbird because you can move past it, but when it is for the most part the entire song, it makes Em very mediocre.
As well as some of his beats. He needs to get Flying Lotus like kendrick on to pimp a butterfly to pull out such amazing music. And leave that rick rubin bitch
encore relapse mmlp recovery all trash. Eminem show is the only one I even remotely like the mmlp 1 aight it sold a lot but isnt that great looking back.
***** what do you mean "when Encore is still out there"? Personally I think Encore blows Recovery out of the water, BUT I'm not one of those people who hated on Recovery, I liked about half of the album which isn't terrible. On Recovery the song "Going through changes" is one of my favorite Eminem songs ever, meaning it's one of my favorite songs ever. Such an inspirational song, and I'm battling addiction so I can relate to Eminem on many levels.
MMLP 2 wasn't amazing but definitely a good album. It's been the first album I've bought from Eminem since The Eminem Show. So that should say something.
***** Yep! Deja Vu, Stay Wide Awake, Same Song and Dance, and the bonus tracks are amazing (imo). Plus Music Box too, in Refill. Near classic for me. Relapse>Recovery imo.
Core Voltage it wasn't on the deluxe edition, you could only get it if you pre ordered call of duty ghosts. then you would get a code to get the album on you're computer.

+mtorres723 it's not even close to mediocre, if people would actually listen to the lyrics and stories behind each song instead of just the beat you could understand how good em really is.
It needs to be listen to more than one time. Some songs are stupid but most are outstanding. The dubble meanings and analogys match the flow 8 out of 10 and the original gets 10 10
I was pretty impressed with this album compared to everything post The Eminem Show. As another casual Em fan, I like it a lot. Bad Guy-10/10 Loved this track. Parking Lot- N/A Rhyme or Reason- 8/10 beat and verses go hard, hook is ok. So much better - 6/10 Some great lines overshadowed by horrible ones. Survival - 7/10 Beat is ok, but Em actually sounds pretty hungry there. Legacy - 4/10 Don't fuck with it. Berzerk - 6/10 Beat and hook are good. Verses sound like Lil B ghostwrote. Rap God - 10/10 GOES HARD Brainless - 7/10 sick beat. Hook is ok. Verses are pretty good. Stronger Than I Was - 4/10 Nope Nope Nope Nope Nope. The Monster - 5/10 Sounds like a Recovery reject. A reject from a bad album is not a good thing. So Far - 9/10 I love this track Love Game - 10/10 The beat, the verses, the hooks are all perfection. Headlights - 9/10 I expected to hate this and ended up loving it. Evil Twin - 10/10 A lot is going on there. It'll take a few listens. Final Score: 7/10 A few potholes stop this album from reaching greatness for me.
Eminems music isn't really something u dance to or see if it has a hype beat like drake, future, etc When u listen to eminem u get clever punch lines and amazing story telling and humor I think this guy is revving it the wrong way
+Funny Fave And Quint actually liked the few tracks that had that stuff in them. He just didn't like some of the whack beats, horrible punchlines/wordplay, god awful singing, and corny hooks.
The first time I listened to it I was like aww hell naw. I hardly liked any of the songs, and half of them sounded underground. I thought for having such a great producer the beats would sound so much better like in the past. Very 'cheap' it sounded. Second time listening to it I came around to it. It's not great, but it wasn't as bad as what I thought it was. Everyone doesn't take to mind completely this is a different Eminem. This is the sober Eminem, and that greatly affected his work from the LP to the LP2.
1st time listening to this I was like what is this shit. 2nd time listening to it I was like ok it's decent. 3rd time listening, wow this is much better then i thought at first. 4th, this is his best album since The Eminem Show.
Aleksandar Djordjevic never did I say anything about any ones body figure, now did I? no I didn't.. and I'm not a 'kiddo'... so why don't you go do something other than wasting your and my time on this comment thread.
Rap god is a very good song, but it also kind of signifies the beginning of the end for Eminem imo because that's when he really started doing his goofy lyrical spiritual miracle shit he does all the time nowadays.
Eminem is the kind of artist who will only appeal to certain demographics. Personally I fuck w him because his songs about being that person nobody gives a fuck about speak to me. I know he don't make bangers but im fine with that. I love listening to him when I need a soundtrack to my life at a certain moment. He makes music that hit my emotions. call me a loser or whatever lol ion really give af
+Wild Turkey Glad you understand how I feel man! Tbh I been a loner ass loser most of my life lol so his music has totally explained my life for the longest time. It's always nice to have some shit you can relate to
You have to listen to the songs three times, and then you are completetly hooked. When i first heard it, i was hugely dissapointed. But i gave it another chance and now it's the only shit im listening to.
+Pbird25 Relapse is brilliant, the technical skills he displays is some of the best of his career. I love the dark theme and personally think its up there as one of his best albums.
Bad Guy is a part 2 of Stan. Stan's little brother seeks revenge on Em for making Stan kill himself. He doesn't even listen to the lyrics. Eminem is a freaking genius. Just outright insane with his words. Some people find him to be boring because they don't listen to the freaking lyrics and are too dumb to understand what he is trying to explain. How does someone NOT like legacy? Or Bad Guy? Or any other song.
A person doesn't really have time to analyze lyrics in his FIRST reaction, the beat and overall feel of the song, and maybe the technical rhyming and flow is the only thing you can notice in your first listen of any rap album, especially songs with double and triple timing.
agent475816 maybe so,but big quint is known for first reactions, whether it's lupe fiasco, eminem to wake flocka and riff raff same rules apply in the reviewing procedure.
I used to listen to Eminem's music all the time, but he's kind like the hip hop equivalent of Pokemon. It was the show that introduced everyone to anime so it had a place in your heart, but once you start watching other more mature and thoughtful anime's you start realizing it wasn't really that good in the first place.....Yeah, I know its a weird analogy but I wanted to say it.
Michael Swalgren You're entitled to your opinion. I think it's an alright album. But the SSLP and MMLP can't be touched in my opinion. That will forever be his best work to me.
Ordinary Broncos Fan Cliché comment detected. Oh yeah of course they’re the two first Eminem albums so you say it’s the two best albums. Personnally my fav album is MMLP2 too
You do realise "Stronger Than I Was" is a sequel to "Kim", right? It's Kim's say on the matter. It's really similar to "Hailie's Song". In this and "Hailie's Song", he starts to rap in the third verse.
o0oMileso0otechman No I know, I'm just pointing our that it's a sequel (since most people can't seem to grasp the fact that it's connected to "Kim" and it's from Kim's perspective), "Stronger Than I Was" is without a doubt the most hated track off the entire album, it's easily got the most flak. Everyone expects him to go ham with multis, amazing wordplay and crazy flows, the reason he's singing is because it's supposed to be believable like what he did with Matthew on "Bad Guy". Like how he spat with a terrible flow, coupled with awful wordplay and bad puns to point to the fact that Matthew is an amateur rapper. Some people just don't pay attention to lyrics.
So in return can I share constructive criticism with you? Learn to spell and use correct punctuation before you call anybody an idiot. Also, I'm an "idiot" because I chose to explain a song that is constantly attacked by people that are too ignorant to look past the singing and actually pay attention to the lyrics? That's some logic right there.
LMFAO, dope review man. Pretty sure by now you know that there is a BONUS track which is called "Don't Front" featuring Buckshot which is undoubtedly one of best (if not the best) tracks on the Album.
I'm a big Em fan, and I totally agree with this review. The Eminem Show was my favourite album, I'm just dying for Em to make an album as good as that again.
Eminem can still rap his ass off, but he really, REALLY needs to hand off the producing to a dope beat maker. His beats always blow, and half of them are these trashy rock/rap hybrids that don't do it well
That Dude Najarian i agree.....his lyrics and rapping skills are always on point if you ask me...but his production and features, hooks, are just not there. I liked this album though...I felt that it was much MUCH better than Recovery....but nobody can take away what he's done in the game. Personally Slim Shady LP is my favorite then MMLP, Eminem Show, Encore...MMLP2, Recovery, everything else isnt' worth mentioning
The MMLP2 was clearly for the long time fans
+Cakez00 yea it has alot of references to his older work
+Comment Reason he only referenced the first Marshall mathers lp
Andrei Pristoleanu There are a lot of references to the eminem show.

Did he not get that "Bad Guy" was a continuation of "Stan"?
thats what i was thinking
+FernPlant3000 I feel like all he does is critique the beats and shit. He never seems to care about lyrics or story
+Gurpreet Aujla the beats are horrible
+Gurpreet Aujla yeah but it still fucking blew
Jarvis Elmerhath lol no
As a hardcore lyricist fan, this album is great, I respect his opinion, but come on, most of Eminem's verses flew over people's heads. BTW, ''Bad Guy'' is an continuation of ''Stan''. Eminem, whether you like him or not, is still rapping some of the dopest bars/verses today.

love the album my only complaint would be some of the hooks are complete shit, but the lyrics and metaphors and analogies are amazing
he's a freestyle dude, he cant really do hooks well
i feel that if they redid this album, took out a few hooks, and changed the productions a bit.. this would be one of the best hip hop albums of all time
Couldn't agree more
nigga said *one of the best hip hop albums of all time*
white ppl come take your l's
Stewie Griffin lmao for real. He should change it to one of Eminem's greatest albums post encore
TexasBassFishing what's worse is he has 14 thumbs up
Fuck outta here fsee this album is mid at best. Eminem has not dropped one classic his entire career. Maybe MMLP comes closest
Recovery was fuckin dope. He was talkin bout real shit n being deeper than usual. It was close to one of his best albums in my opinion. idk
8:46 Close your eyes
Did he fucking skipped 'Legacy' like it was nothing.. Em only used a single rhyme for the whole song....
no.. he placed it 6th as tracklist
Big quint as much as I love him he really only listens to beats for the most part
+yankeesrule09 not true
HipHop 24/7 I can understand for him tho, you can't dance to rappity rap type shit
+yankeesrule09 that isn't true
I always come back to this video for Bigquint's reaction to "L-L-L-L-LESBIAN!!" on So Much Better xD 4:26
bsheehy94 I like when he dances to rhyme or reason😂😂😂😂

I agree with you. I don't like him doing records with Rihanna, and shit. He should have done some songs with 50, Dre, Hopsin. With Rihanna it's to much pop
yes but there are som corny punchlines as well other than that it was dope af
DontLookAtMeLad bad guy sucks ass, like you
as a em fan, I feel this album, and i love it, but i also respect quint's opinion, he simply prefer beats over lyrics, period.
I don't think so, he respects lyrics immensely, he just don't want Marshall bursting into song, which tbf is good advice, Eminem can't sing
+SPFC2011 nah he respects lyrics more than anyone. eminems lyrical capability i feel was no present in this album he and we know he could have done much better.
Bullshit listening to beats is like listening to dubstep he has to listen to the actual lyrecs which I didn't really se that
@@josephmodglin3829 rap is shit without a good beat
Lol
My only problem with "New Em" is the hooks in his song... Other than that the dude is a machine
and his singing tracks. I'm fine with him singing the hook like he had in Mockingbird because you can move past it, but when it is for the most part the entire song, it makes Em very mediocre.

I comment on every video I watch stop complaining about the hooks. It's not a problem!

Don't see how people can hate on Recovery when Encore is still out there, just my opinion.

Eminen's flow and delivery is still good but his concepts, beats and hooks are weak.
Eminem's flow is actually one of his problems now, like he raps off beat and unnecessarily fast

agent475816 maybe so,but big quint is known for first reactions, whether it's lupe fiasco, eminem to wake flocka and riff raff same rules apply in the reviewing procedure.
You have no taste of real rap you need to grow up
***** Oh the irony and hypocrisy of that comment.
I usually agree with all that you say but i personally think that track 6 "legacy" is epic!
Apart from that you did a great job as always. RESPECT!
No you actually have a point.
The games were always better though.
That's a horrible analogy and makes zero sense
CreationStory stupidest comment, em's is rap god either way
btw bad guy is the part 2 of stan, where stan's brother is rapping about how eminem ruined his family, and he kills eminem
The Marshall Mathers LP 2 is my favorite Eminem album of all time
Michael Swalgren that's sad af
Austin Miller actually its not sad. its his opinion
Michael Swalgren You're entitled to your opinion. I think it's an alright album. But the SSLP and MMLP can't be touched in my opinion. That will forever be his best work to me.
Agreed man!!!
Ordinary Broncos Fan Cliché comment detected. Oh yeah of course they’re the two first Eminem albums so you say it’s the two best albums. Personnally my fav album is MMLP2 too
His last verse on Bad Guy is among his best ever.
Albums
MMLP
SSLP
TES
MMLP2
Recovery
Relapse
Encore
That cinnamon bun pause tho
11:26 I fucking love the moment Lamar comes on he goes: „Alright“, imma stand up and dance.
4:25 hahahahahahaahah
i love your videos bro, keep doing what your doing!!
You do realise "Stronger Than I Was" is a sequel to "Kim", right? It's Kim's say on the matter. It's really similar to "Hailie's Song". In this and "Hailie's Song", he starts to rap in the third verse.
Almost all these songs are sequels.
o0oMileso0otechman No I know, I'm just pointing our that it's a sequel (since most people can't seem to grasp the fact that it's connected to "Kim" and it's from Kim's perspective), "Stronger Than I Was" is without a doubt the most hated track off the entire album, it's easily got the most flak. Some people just don't pay attention to lyrics.
.
So in return can I share constructive criticism with you? Learn to spell and use correct punctuation before you call anybody an idiot.
Also, I'm an "idiot" because I chose to explain a song that is constantly attacked by people that are too ignorant to look past the singing and actually pay attention to the lyrics?
That's some logic right there.
...
LMFAO, dope review man. Pretty sure by now you know that there is a BONUS track which is called "Don't Front" featuring Buckshot which is undoubtedly one of best (if not the best) tracks on the Album.
3:31 LMFAO!
Ahaha i love this guy. You did a great job mayne. MMLPII an instant classic and album of the year.
Love this review. Did u know that rap god was a freestyle.
A freestyle means it has no real subject, not necessary off the top of the head, but it's still a dope as a fuck song
I give my props to you, this is a very well done and unbias first reaction with a very well thought out conclusion. Great Job!
so far... was brilliant..............
I'm a big Em fan, and I totally agree with this review. The Eminem Show was my favourite album, I'm just dying for Em to make an album as good as that again.
Eminem can still rap his ass off, but he really, REALLY needs to hand off the producing to a dope beat maker. His beats always blow, and half of them are these trashy rock/rap hybrids that don't do it well
Stronger Than I Was is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥… it’s just like Hailey’s Song and NOBODY complained about that
No it is not hailes song had a sweet chorus from haile which was actually endearing and stronger than I was is him singing with heavy diarrhea
can you react to Childish Gambino's album, when it comes out to December 10
Awesome, great job and funny!! Forget music, get on the food network, I took a break from the video to get my cinnabun on!!!! lol
So far is so cool you did not like it?
The Cinnamon Bun break though 🤣🤣🤣🤣💪🏾
Please do Shady XV, where he actually came back hard. I would pay to see you react to that shit :D
That shit was wack like wack as fuck
It was whack
His reaction to when Em said "you make my fuckin blue tooth ache" was fucking perfect lmfao
He didn't like Stronger Than I Was, because, he can't dance to it.
Sure as fuck he could have danced to So Far but he disliked it.
Right!
The cinnamon roll was the funniest part of the video XD
Eminem's hooks are just trash now, needs to lay off the female vocalists
This, and his selection of beats..
Lyrically Eminem has definitely improved.
***** thats an exception
That Dude Najarian cannot stand Monster......
We need Nate Dogg :(
BRO I REMEMBERED LISTENING TO THIS ALBUM WHILE PLAYING Call of Duty GHOSTS 😂
