I loved how you paid attention to his arms/hands in the Superhuman Practice video, i love how he uses them here too, he expresses so much and so well done, the way he ends his movements with them, he is very conscious and careful, they are an important part of his moves and he knows how to place them amd move them for every single movement
I completely agree with you on the evolution of Taeyong's dancing. I feel like NCT's music calls for a certain kind of movement whereas with his own music he's exploring every genre possible and with his own team of dancers, and especially dancing with his female dancer friends has allowed him to express his fluidity and sensuality in a way he couldn't with NCT's usual hard-hitting choreography. Ghost is a genuine masterpiece and a labor of love from Taeyong and his team because everything about it is just immaculate.
Such wonderful artistry demonstrated in Ghost. The soundscape is excellent if you wear headphones and the performance is sensual, defiant and haunting.

I want to meet the Professors more than the artists themselves.

I was super impressed by Kun's production and arrangement skills in Rain Day - the vocal mix is so gorgeous! Really good to see the neos coming up with more self-composed work in recent months. Taeyong is someone I've just been following more and more closely since his Soundcloud discography came out and I just love his versatility as a songwriter and as a performer and how he never shys away from attempting new styles and themes. Ghost is amazing. Jaehyun is a very underrated main vocal in NCT and this was a great chance to see him showcase what he can do.
Taeyong's talent is incredible, he wrote and composed this song, directed his own mv, Bada Lee who created the choreography is just the icing on the cake, and sm sleeps on this literal gold mine, not a word about it, nothing, nada, sm is definitely against real talent and creativity and only sells his cheap products out of his generic song catalog, a shame.
Actually the background vocals on Rain Day isn’t female. On Genius it credits Junny who also helped Kun produce this track. I wanted to loved Forever Only but in MV he doesn’t seem connected/engaged with the song. He isn’t expressing much with his face/eyes. That seems like something he struggles with often from what I’ve seen in photoshoot bts and in his drama Dear M.
@@Heyguhh I honestly think he is often like this In general he seems to struggle with displaying certain emotions/feelings on camera. He often does this default expressionless look. Idk if he is just bad at facial expressions or is resting on his gorgeous face/voice.
Feel the same way...like, obviously his face as is can carry a lot, but he does seem to have difficulty with injecting a little more emotion, especially in the eyes. I've wondered if this is because he's trying to maintain that "mysterious" or "cool" kind of persona.
Have you seen the live performance he does is the NCT Music Lab version? I noticed a real difference there and also when he is live in concert it's more emotion (for me anyway)
I think during live performances he is incredibly expressive, his live for forever only and also during concerts with songs like no longer or his own song lost. I think he struggle with going out of his "comfort zone" during filming though. I partially think it's also his personality a bit like this, more introverted and closed off. And i think he is comfortable with that kind of expression and vibe and struggle to let go when he is filming. But honestly i enjoyed his acting in dearm. I expected worse exactly because sometimes he looks a bit mono-expression. There is also the possibility that he was feeling nervous during the filming. Let's remember that he filmed this mv in a rush in less than a day and this is his first officially released self written song. So there is also this aspect to take into account. Anyway it's true that in the mv he looked a bit distant and detached but the song is really good for me. Like i loved it a lot.
