I picked this team to win 6 games this year. Any fan that believed that this team was a contender after doing absolutely nothing in the offseason shame on you. Can’t blame anybody but yourself. I’m never giving up on this team but the team needs to update the offense and defensive playbook. The dline and oline need to hit the bench press and really start working harder. Read Confucius the will to win. The mentality has to be more aggressive like a soldier but methodical.

I've been a Cowboys fan since I first saw Roger Staubach in the 70's when I was just a kid, and that's still my favorite Cowboys team all-time.
I had high hopes for this McCarthy Cowboys team, but after yesterday's blowout loss at home AGAIN (that makes 4 bad beatings the their last 4 home games) I would fire big Mike, and replace him with a younger head coach who is known for tough physical play. (ie: Dan Campbell).
If they stay with the same coaches and philosophies, they will NOT make the playoffs this year....and the curse of Jerry Jones (for releasing Jimmy Johnson) continues.

I've never seen an owner or GM set their coach and qb up for failure the way Jerry has. Fans should had seen this coming in the offseason. Now they're blaming everything and everybody except the man who's really responsible. There's a quick fix that would turn the team around in a year or so but it would take the guts that Jimmy Johnson had.

speaking of scoring touch downs. You can't score touch downs in the red zone if you can pass protect and run the ball. You can go up and down the field but with no run game you will hardly every score once in the red zone. This is nothing new with the teams Mike McCarthy and Jerry Jones have built together.

The only player we can truly rely on is the fucking kicker. He deserves everything and more. I’m already tuned out. No more recording games. Saved $20 a month for that. I don’t buy Cowboy merchandise anymore. I don’t waste my time listening to Mike McCarthys and Jerry Jones press conferences. If I can’t watch the games live, I’ll watch the highlights on RUclips. We really need a fresh start, the play calling is suspect and #4 just doesn't have the pocket presence that I would be comfortable with, a pass in the middle with 26 seconds left and no time outs, I dunno, at least the NBA is about to start

Here is the problem with the cowboys I think the players just wants to play whenever they need to. You can't tell me after beating Pittsburgh that this players can't play if they can't beat the lions but if they are ready they can be competitive. This is where your hard-nosed toughness of coaching comes into play. Guys Mike McCarthy is a good coach but just being honest this players are not buying it. Yes they will perform when chips are down but we have no toughness or accountability by coaching. Example, Trevon Diggs would not be playing against 49ers if Jimmy Johnson or Bill Parcell was coaching. You have to be tough on this players and we don't have coaching staff to get into their ears. This why we get this kinds of games against good teams.
