Same, I was using the Digital Infinity 1.0. Upgraded to the Digital Infinity 2.0 and a world of difference. Yes you can keep the hood down and the difference in lense is astonishing.

Well it’s been eight months how do you like your welding helmet is it still working up to your expectations, is it worth some money I haven’t seen a follow up video on this helmet yet. Jim
    Oh yes I definitely subscribed

You should do a comparison between this helmet and the optrel crystal 2.0...

1 thing about optrel is its too fancy

I have a clt panoramaxx really good clarity but lots of glare when doing high voltage mig welding. But still love it.

So from what I’m seeing it finally is as clear as the Lincoln 3350

I've been running the digital infinity for over 5 years and have never had a complaint about it and never had issues.
Only problem was I dropped the lens/computer first week i had it and cracked the screen where the sensitivity readout shows lmao but it has still worked perfectly despite that
Mine might be the clearlight 1.0, not sure which version was put when I bought my infinity

Lol cool helmet. I'm digging the Doc Brown look from back to the future movie with those sunglasses.

I have an older Miller Digital Elite. Is it possible to just swap lenses?

Yes. The lenses are removeable. As long as it's a clear light lense, you can remove them.

it's better than the ESAB , my coworker has ESAB, let me use it,
the millers neutral shade is way clearer.
ESAB is too fancy looking, gotta worry about scuffing it up.
way better than the old digital elite.

I been welding in tanks for a long time. If you a structural or any welder. We all use either a Fiber Metal flip or Jackson HSL 2. Those hoods are old but nothing new that comes out can beat them. Put in a Tradesmen lens. Better.
