FOR THOSE WHO STILL CANT UNDERSTAND HOW TO GET THE RCA SIGNAL. I had the exact same issue as u and here is the FIX. Tap into the bose rear tire speaker and just unplug the rear speaker. (White-positive /brown-negative.) tie it to the line out converter. No need to take out the seat to access the stock amp . REMOTE WIRE - run a remote wire into the engine bay with the power cable. tap into the one of the fuses in the engine fuse block.there is a 15 amp fuse that is labeled (protect various circuits)it’s a SWITCHED fuse. Turns on and off with the car. pls like if this comment helped u.
For adventurers looking for 2023 cx-30 install advice. This works great. Got a rockghost to shove in my spare tire. Ran remote, on wire and power on the left side. Power and turn on wire set up as shown in the vid. Since it is an active sub I elected to follow the other cx30 advice and just wire into the baby pink and baby blue speaker wires in the loom under passenger door kick plate trim as well as the red and blue twisted pairs of wire. Amp/sub turns on with the car. Turns off after a few minutes after locking up the car no problem. Only thing left for me to do is church it all up and hide everything. I can already tell the rockghost sub is gonna be more than enough for the kind of bass I want, but I'm not looking to shake windows of houses as I drive by.
I just finished doing my 2021 CX-30. My only issue was finding the accessory connection, but I tapped into that white wire by the driver's side what you shown. I bought an active sub - the Pioneer 12" from amazon (PIONEER TS-WX1210AM) , I have to drop it to minimum gain (it has plenty of power) and secure it with either a velcro on the bottom or to a piece of metal or wood sheet so it won't move. Thanks for the detective work for the wires! The only difference is that I used the baby pink/ blue color and the red/blue color speaker wires (they are twisted together) by the passenger door door sill, as I saw it on the CX30 forums. The cool thing is, that now I can just switch subs or add amplifier if I want something better, the hard part of the wiring is already done.
Bro this worked perfect! Watching your video made it easy to install my subs in my cx30 so thank you very much, I removed the passenger seat to get easy access under, I wired the remote wire to the white wire you showed in the video and I used the same LOC and it’s pretty good the left side rca doesn’t seem to be as loud as the right so I don’t know if I didn’t make a good connection between the LOC and the harness on factory amp but it’s fine for now. The remote turn on i found at last minute via a google search. Someone posted a mirror install with mazda directions that this was ign on power. Granted i work for mazda lol. As for under the seat i didnt poke around per say to see what was ign on power. So i used what was in video. As for the kicker loc im going to to try 3/4 turn on screws vs 1/2 and back the gain down on amp next. Co workers vehicle. They have been out for a month. Hopefully i will update video. But it gets you a base starting point. No videos out there like this so i made one.

love the video, but im having a very difficult time getting through the gromet in the firewall. I cant see the end that needs to be cut off. No room to get my hands in there to feel around. I'm nervous about punching through the existing wires. any advice on getting through it?
interesting. I would have used velcro (hook and loop) to affix the LOC to the top of the under seat amp/box. no on is going to look at it all the time and it won't move around over bumps. it also leave the pots open for (quick) tuning. still not sold on t-taps. I know they are easy, but I do not have faith in them
Please could you share.....Exactly how did you secure/mount the subwoofer in that spot where you showed it sitting? The video shows it sitting on some type of mat, that I assume is on top of a fiber/plastic floor panel. How did you bolt it down?

I installed a second amp last month. 1) My vehicle is RHD and I can confirm the color coding was the same. 2) There was enough room in the factory firewall cut out to squeeze my 0 guage in. Though my grommet looked different to the one in the video. 3) I end up going with JL audio amps so I didn't have to worry about the LOC. The video was all I needed and I was able to fill in the gaps.

DO NOT TAP INTO THE BOSE SUB, it’s artificially tuned by the factory amp to not give a signal under 45htz…..

There should be a small black nipple. Cut that. Then send a cost hanger threw. Then tape said wire to it and apply lubricant so it slides with ease.

How powerful is this amp and is it a straight 4ohm sub?

It will most likely be different. I have not had the chance to be asked to install a system on one of those.
