I made these, doubled them up, stuffed with fibre & decorated with tiny red beds then made into a garland and wrapped 'bottle' lights around. they look so pretty I have had three friends requesting them for next year - thank you for your great tutorial !
Clear and easy instructions to follow. Love the texture this pattern gives to the little tree, so much nicer that the flat ones. I'm doing them with thread, and tiny hook for earrings.
As a beginner, I love this easy tutorial with the the on-screen descriptions. Very helpful!
I do things like this and put them on my Christmas gifts my friends love them I have made holly and berries .snowmen . Bells. Now I will make your trees .thank you for showing me
Like this very much. Really appreciate the clear instructions both verbal and visual. Thanks 🙏
Xcellent video, Ty for always mentioning the stitch count..keeps us on track….so easy to follow
I love that you showed it all from start to finish, showing exactly how to do it and which stitches to pick up. Thank you.
I really like the idea of using cord. I always work with yarn but this tree project lends itself to the cord. Thanks!

Has anyone tried this with cotton yarn...like "Peaches & Cream" brand found in Michael's, etc? I need to stay within my budget this holiday season and I would love to know how they came out with that kind of yarn. Great tutorial!
I wish I knew too ?
I just made one with Hobby Lobby I Love This Cotton...turned out greatl! 🎄
@@dp2578 thank you so much !
I just made one with lilys sugar & cream yarn and it’s super cute! It’s more thin and few more holes in it than in the video but that’s just because it’s different yarn. Still looks very cute though and helps especially when you’re on a budget!🎄
Also there’s capri eco cotton yarn at Michaels that’s cheap and nice too! Just seems you have to be more gentle with it
Was very sure I could do this, but cannot find 3mm polyester cord anywhere. Cotton available but wouldn't have any sheen. Any suggestions?
i am using metallic 4 weight
Me too
Mine is turning out in the regular square shape

there's only one problem no one thinks about when they use type to chat. They place it on the bottom of the screen where all the icons and controls are so when you start straight off with text on the screen across the bottom the control are still covering it. You don't get to read it and if it is too fast for you to read and you try to pause and read the text keeps being hidden because as long as your paused you can't see any thing one the bottom inch or so of the video.
Just zoom out , then the bottom control panel will disappear
I need a written, printable pattern. Do you have one?
Bellissimi
Is there a written version? I am having a really hard time following the video.
wondering same...
Just press pause you will get there 🌹

Can I use t shirt yarn cause I have so many
I'm talking about it in the video - 01:10
@@CrochetwithJulia yeees thank you ❤️❤️❤️
love and appreciate this tutorial. But on the screen after we do a 4sc,dec,4sc. you leave text 4sc,dec,4sc instead of changing to 3sc, dec, 4sc. Just in case anyone else sees this. I only did because I was writing the instructions and watching at the same time. Much appreciation for this video, good intentions only here. Hugs
Thank you for going slow...helps when your a newbeeee!
Easy to follow but beginners would find cord harder to work with rather than yarn
where to buy the polyester cord?
I would get sugar and cream yarn

Finish off, make loop if desired.

Get diff color.
Pick center 4 stitches at base of tree.
SC into those 4 stitches.
Chain 1, turn, 3 SC. Finish off.
i’m at 16:16 and struggling:( how do we go from 9 to 7 stitches? I am counting 9, but then when I do 3sc, 1 decrease, 3sc, I’m ending up with an extra stitch at the end. any advice for what I’m missing?
I fell asleep while you were at about the 5th row. Had to watch again. So slow.
The music makes me sad. Jenny Apple used it often in her videos.
I found this incredibly difficult.
Its cording not yarn thats why its so difficult
Only if she talked it would be great
problem is video is too Slow!
You can change the speed of the video
Bileklerimi kesicem böyle saçma anlatım olamaz Türklere kurban olun
why are you so slow?! like, come on
I appreciate the speed that she is working. Increase the play speed if you want her to go faster.
