@@exserk Haha, are you serious? I know there's a lot of oil when you cook this but my mom said to let it cool down overnight. In the morning, all the oil will get solid at the time and you can scoop it out. It's always better the next day!
@@worldseri I know it's an old comment but in case you go back and read these, what I like to do is fry it in a cast iron pan first for about 15 minutes to brown it all, then when I chuck it in the pot with everything else, I drain some oil if there's a lot, then add water to the pan and let it boil a for a bit to deglaze it, scrape the pan a bit with a wood spatula, and chuck that in the broth. Really adds some good flavor to it.
Donovan Sithan yup, I found that to be a great technique. I was still trying to figure it out back then but I’ve gotten a little better since then lol. Thanks for the awesome advice! Appreciate it 👌🏾
Nice! So I keep playing around with this recipe myself. Once that sugar starts to melt, I will turn down the heat a bit and toss in the garlic. Honestly it’s ok if the sugar becomes a bit hard cuz it will just melt into the liquid. Hope that helps!
Seri, you are a true gentleman in the kitchen.
Thank you Anthony! Please be sure to subscribe for more exciting videos!
Thank you very much for that amazing recipe. Going to be making this week.

HEY. Great Recipe! :)))
Sary Mao thanks 🙏🏼
Have you ever try frying the pork prior?
Brenda Kol I haven’t but I’ve seen other folks do it. That way you can fry out the oil from the pork belly. I’m still trying to figure it out lol

When you put in the chillies
I usually throw them in after the soup begins to boil. Pretty sure you can put it in before too. No wrong way!
