A great review of a great film. A minor detail some people may not know is that except for a few early, real-life clips of the Missouri actually sailing, along with the footage of President Bush being shown, all of the ships' deck scenes were filmed on the decommissioned USS Alabama, now a fixed museum ship in Mobile, Alabama. This was the second of THREE collaborations IN A ROW between Tommy Lee Jones and director Andrew Davis, followed by The Fugitive. The first was with Davis' previous film, a slick, suspenseful conspiracy thriller called The Package, which ALSO saw Jones playing a villain going up against Gene Hackman's tough, grizzled hero. I would HIGHLY recommend that for checking out in the future.
Correct me if I am wrong Kristen, but I think what you found attractive about the relationship is that they are true partners. The Chief is actually a strong example of non-toxic masculinity. He's patient, thinks of others well-being first, never cynical or condescending towards her, and most importantly, he RESPECTS HER FEELINGS, even when they may be ungrounded. He also respects her enough to both foster her sense of self-determination as well as trusting his life in her judgment. She, in turn, ups her game and does things she probably would have thought she was previously incapable of.

Speaking of Busey, if you haven't seen Point Break (the OG 90's version) I highly highly recommend seeing it on this channel. It's anothjer great 90's action movie with Busey, Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swazye. It's an awesome awesome movie and think you guys would love it.
Thanks again. Great reaction video again, guys. :)
That would be, The Corrs! 🥰 Love that song!
Gently banging the door was the crew sending a message
From an episode of the 90's sitcom NewsRadio (one if the funniest sitcoms ever!):
Dave : _As I predicted, we have something of a mutiny on our hands._
Jimmy : _Oh yeah! You're completely under siege. Just like that guy in that... that movie... What's it called?_
Dave : _Under Siege?_
Jimmy : _No..._
Dave : _Under Siege 2?_
Jimmy : _No..._
Dave : _Under Siege 3?_
Jimmy : _That's the one._
Lisa : _I don't think they made Under Siege 3._
Jimmy : _Hey... I can dream, can't I?_
I loved News Radio! I don't remember that scene but it sounds really funny.
The gods have blessed us today 😊
Dude may have not seen this movie, but he’s rockIng the Navy moustache.
Seagal was referring to the recruiting motto for the US Navy during the 80's was > "It's not a job, it's an adventure".
I love this reaction so much!
steven seagal, gary busey and tommy lee jones were brilliant in this movie
knife fight in the machine shop, all lethal cuts or stabs, and the band saw ... yea, that a OOOH moment
How are we doing Steven Segal and NOT Van Damme??? We need some Van Damme movies on here please!!!
Seagal movies are woefully underrepresented amongst the YT reactor community. Good to see someone showing it some love.
Omg, I am *so* happy about this! ❤
Kristen’s reaction to Seagal putting that guy through the bandsaw was what I was waiting for.
Erika Eleniak. Baywatch lifeguard and actual playmate. I remember watching this on VHS and the cake scene was all worn out. 😂
always loved how she delivered the line: "Oh, my God, we're gonna die"
Does Andrew not know the difference between a torpedo and a missile?
My favorite guilty pleasure movie
Every cake should have an Erika Eleniak in it TBH.
I want 1989 Elenia in my Birthday cake..........lol.
