Although there are countless famous songs, the number of music files that are prohibited from being uploaded due to RUclips copyright has increased significantly. Excluding previously uploaded works, the release of newly uploaded music is often prohibited, so I chose a music source with as few upload restrictions as possible. The focus is on selecting the list, so if you want better sound sources, you can copy the work number and search to hear more perfect sound sources.
That is not a good performance of Ständchen. It's way too loud for the Echo passage, and the tempo's too slow. Horowitz and Hamelin played it far better. By contrast, it's a terrific performance of Erlkönig, portraying the terror of the father and the child in the song.
@@karrotkake I don’t see “in my opinion” in that comment. I think there can be nothing useful or worthwhile to come from saying “this is Not Good”, “this is too (insert adjective)”. Yes, “in my opinion” goes without saying, but in what way is this possibly constructive?
@@terryjones573 Disagree. Perhaps someone is listening to the Liszt Ständchen for the first time, and if they listen to this version, they will get the wrong idea of how effective and beautiful the piece can be when the performer actually brings out the Echo as intended.
@@hyperactiveofficial8096 i would disagree. the tone is nice but the interpretation and rubato seem completely off with no rythmical sense. not to mention the choice of dynamics dont really help either

Великолепно! Спасибо!
Fantastic!
This is such a fantastic channel. Thank you for these uploads!
I think Gute Nacht should be featured as well.

not to mention the rubato sounds really random and off, and the left hand is often detached or rolled chords are played weirdly for no reason
Then go listen to them.
@@terryjones573 are we not allowed to listen to a recording and give our opinions on them? isnt that how you find your favourite recording anyways?

sorry but what is that standchen performance...
Yeah, why are the right hand and the left so out of sync?! I generally love Cho's interpretations, but this one just sucks
It was gorgeous, I'm not sure what you're blathering about.
