@@audiotoolshed I understand. Acustica Audio do state that their products are designed to work with Intel processors, so that may be part of it. Without knowing how much RAM and the buffer size you are working with its hard to compare. I ask because another reviewer reported being able to use 42 instances of AA Pink channel strip with an Intel i9, 64gb of RAM at 1024 buffer size. Pink is said to be the most CPU hungry of the AA plugins. I have recently mixed my first track using AA Cream, I have 16 instances with a few other plugins and my usage is at around 50% with an i7, 48gb of RAM at 1024 buffer size.
6 instances of compressor number 3. that’s not much, optimisation or not. I also have an i9 cpu in the studio and the amd usually is at least of equal performance.
Also depends. On the amd usually yes because I use it for the videos and I have a few other programs running for capturing and more and I want smooth playback.
Thanks for the review. But for my ears (35 years as a musician, and 20 years with a homerecording studio) the coloration is too subtle to survive in a mix.
To ech their own! If you add it all up then you will notice the difference. Also saturation will even out audio moe then without which will translate in an easier mixing session.
Great NEW Analog Plugins by KIIVE Audio ruclips.net/video/7teI_qriNxs/видео.html
What is your favorite analog sounding plugin?
At the moment it's Aquamarine 4 by Acustica Audio. On the mix bus that thing is just amazing.
Sensational review of this amazing digital recreation of Acustica Audio. Thank you!
Our pleasure!
When did you get the SM7b? Sounds good 🤌🏻🤌🏻
Hey m8! I got it a few weeks ago, happy with it so far :-)
Extremely good review of the plugin. I bought it 2 days ago, and this helped me with a good overview.
Thank you for you kind words!!!!
I can even hear on the Macbook speakers that this sounds better than any algo EQ
Great and analytic review. Bravo!
Thanks! Hope it helped to get an idea of the sound of the plugin.
thank you so much for your video and work! Great plugins
And thank you for your kind words!!
It adds a sense of umami, almost dont change the sound, just the feel, kinda good if the cpu usage is low as fuck
Ow the compressors are really hearable, just check it ;-)
Nice review. Only 6 instances of the compressor before maxing out your CPU? May I ask the specs of your computer please?
“Only” ;-) amd ryzen 9 3900x for the video.

@@audiotoolshed that's really tight man. Are you using your largest buffer size?
Also depends. On the amd usually yes because I use it for the videos and I have a few other programs running for capturing and more and I want smooth playback.
Sounded great.
It does.
I like Brown, its got GIRTH!
And thick, its very thick sounding.
Would a M1 Pro chipped machine lower the latency?
if you need low latency for whatever reason, use the ZL versions that comes in the bundle. Otherwise thw latency compensation will take care of that.
QUAD EIGHT !!!

This is what actual analog gear adds, it’s when it’s drastic and it sounds processed that the sound gets lost
The old nebula 3 Alex B libraries was much better
5:41 - Deal breaker in the digital era. Absurd useless feature.
Hey but its more ''analog'' like that! I agree. You can easily match those in a plugin.
