I like the fact the Villians are somewhat not known at first and the characters do not appear to be mindless killers. There seems to be a code and some honor there that I really like.

Power levels finally don't decide everything.
And deaths matter now since there are no dragon balls.

I agree with you on that fact, but do you agree that a story that was based after GT changes to have god forms, both the evolved saiyans who should have the "true primal" form ssj4 and not god ki, I just hate plot holes, i wish they just stuck with staying in GT + custom forms, the phrase "stick with your guns" comes to mind. I ain't a hater, I love the originality, they just shouldn't of adapted for super.

@@severia24 Yup... its like they forsook the original script and then just ended up shoe horning in the ssj god form thing from supers. I LOVED supers too, don't get me wrong but this series had something unique and was supposed to be based around gt, and gt already had ssj4.
this just makes me a bit suspicious with the time that its been taking for each episode to launch.... like maybe Mellavelli has just simply been biding his time so to give the dragon ball series more time to launch a new episode so he could then start incorporating more new ideas based on that? from what I hear, there's a new dragon ball series on its way, and it continues off from where supers was, so I dunno. . . .
but then again.... maybe he already KNEW about ssj god form ahead of time somehow and all of this was in fact preplanned? one of the things that sort of tipped me off as that being a possibilty is that even in episode one, in the intro, at the end of it each time, You see goku in some new form.... with WHITE hair. . . . Now it MIGHT be a coincidence, but this seems like it may have had something to do/a tie in with ultra instinct. again, probably a coincidence, either Mellavelli might be seeing into the future(lol)or he maybe just wanted to take advantage of said coincidence to make a hypothetical alternate timeline tie in with supers.... there are already characters talking about alternate dimensions in this series so its a probable given...
but I have to say... from the looks of it. . . it almost seems like he NEVER really had any particular ideas of how to continue with the series going forward so hes been pulling from other sources for ideas. . . either that... or. . . . . hes psychically predicting the future... somehow. . . . . . . . . .(lmao)
@@TheDeepThinker-sq3iy it was far before UI became a thing, ssj god was barely out. it was a form that was going to be godly but the influence of DBS wasnt there yet. Vegito was also going to be permanently fused in absalon as well, till something split them. and OG broly being that lssj4, before dragon ball heroes made lssj4 broly which was way before battle of gods.

I really enjoy how all the army leaders have their own deeper reasons for being soldiers, beyond just desiring battle. And the reasons all have something to do with their relationship with comrades, family, or subordinates.
Trunks's SSJ4 character design is so BEASTY! And the opening of this episode seriously pulled me in. Mellavelli you're one of my favorite channels.

Same. Things seemed like they were slowing down for a bit - maybe becoming too muddled - but now it's evident that he's been setting things up for what's to come. Kosho has been my favorite since he appeared, and now it seems there is much more to him. Can't wait to see what happens next!

All the little details, are like wonderful gems that makes this project so unique; like now we have an explanation why Goku came to have this costume (clothing). On top of this it's got a wonderful dragon Ball z nastogia.

I like that Pan's son was taken and she was left behind. Now, Goku's son Goten, and his great grandson was captured adding even more fire to his desire to fight. Keep up the great work Mellavelli, it is appreciated.
Captain Horenzo and his backstory is so interesting. I mean the emotions he displayed after his son's death really shows how powerful he really is, in spite of Gohan and Trunks fusion. He could've killed them easily.

It’s pisses me off that Mastar has more followers then you ,your work is genuine and a true way of how a dragon ball story line would’ve deserved to of gone after GT
On a fair point, Mastar uploads multiple videos every month, if not every week, Dragon Ball Absalon has released 8 episodes in 10 years. That way too much of a wait time and people are bound to lose interest in gaps like that.
I started watching this when I was in high school, episode 9 is barely coming out, but I am about to have my second divorce. See what I’m saying?

@@ItsBat Whether you trace or not, it still takes a huge amount of time to release content. Anyone who animates or understands what it takes to animate knows how time consuming it is. Taking months to animate something from 10 minutes to 20 minutes is usually commendable because that's very fast for an animation of that length. Try to understand what it takes to animate before criticizing others on things that are out of their control.
Amazing Episode! I loved all the scenes with Horenzo and his Son Purika, it really made me feel for the ruthless captain, especially since Roy Bunales' delivery is better than ever! And the Animation was just incredible!

Been a huge fan since ep1 have shown all my friends how awesome your work is and how I wished dbz had your fight choreography and animation style with fights. It reminded me of Ryu vs Fei Long is SF2 the animated movie. "Actually showing the punch, block, kick, sweep and dodge combos with chi blasts mixed in... mwah (chef kiss) I know today you have the naruto's, and other dbz fan made stuff. My to me you were kind of the first during the time there wasnt any db out there so you filled the gap in my life and my friends lives as well. Please Mellavelli I think your story would prosper better as a manga or motion comic then the time spent on animation. Once the series is more fleshed out and you have more time to inbetween you should return to key visuals, however this story needs a manga format to flow easier. Otherwise great work man.

The story is so fucking good, actually disappointed he added in blue forms to pace up once super came out. The story alone is what drives this series.
