Nice job, I did a playthrough of metalslug 3 also, I took the top route instead of the the bugs below. You can see it on my channel. I see you're familiar with avoiding picking up weapons while in the slug so you can acrue lots of laser by the end of the level. Try the same thing with the shotgun earlier on, and you can beat the boss faster.
at certain mode the drill route is disgusting but short to arrive with the final boss of this level so if you want to choose this route dont eat anything before you play it

The yellow beam attack is BS. It's almost impossible to dodge. You were lucky dude! Other than that you are amazing!
