It gave the whole affair the feel of an upscale cocktail party, and I recognized the lyrics to All About That Bass and was like 'WTF?!" So this was the second song, and I made my husband go up and ask the DJ what this was. After that, we were fans! Love this! PMJ does various artists doing various songs in the style of the 20's, 30's and 40's They are AMAZING!
Yes, yes her voice does!! Magnetic!! Her range is sick!!!! Her tone is instantly recognizable, what a unique talent. Her physical performances are so fantastic, I always have to watch again to see what she doing with her eyes and body movement. Just wow. Nice reaction man!!
She changed this song AND managed to keep the vague feeling of apocalypse... But like a Siren inviting, crooning, maybe even summoning an Apocalypse! Like the band playing out the last moments on earth!
Haley is the most captivating singer (artist) on the planet! Sings her heart out every time. You've now heard two of her songs and loved them both. More Haley! Now you MUST do "7 Nation Army" and "All About That Bass" they are equally as mesmerizing. I can't take my eyes off of her. Haley never disappoints. Her live performances are just as good.
Her covers of House of the Rising Sun, I cant Help Falling in Love with you and Seven Nation Army is second to none. She's amazing. Vocally one of the most talented ever IMO

Haley appeared in the 10th season of American Idol (along with fellow PMJ star Casey Abrams), and got very far, but didn't win. I'd say they done messed up! But then again, if she had, maybe she wouldn't have found her calling with Scott Bradlee's outfit, so I think we're all better off!
Haley's work with PMJ has been great for raising awareness of her, but it's been nearly five years since Haley recorded a video with them. Her interest in jazz predates them. She was the first vocalist that her high school jazz band ever had and they performed at the 2009 Montreux Jazz Festival. Haley was in the studio yesterday recording with her four-piece band (not jazz).
Well, she came 3rd, which is the sweet spot. You get full exposure being on every episode, and the 1st and 2nd spot get a soul destroying recording contract. So 3rd place should be the goal.
