Unsolicited advice? Maybe, but not all unsolicited advice is harmful, or “bashing”. That’s why I carefully started my comment with “I hope he takes this constructively”. I acknowledge that some comments go too far with regards to his physical appearance. However, there are still a lot like us who are expressing genuine concern about his health. Unfortunately, in one of his vlogs, though he thanked those who were concerned, he focused more on hitting back on the others as “bashers”. Still despite all these, his unhealthy habits continued in his succeeding vlogs: sugary drinks, lack of exercise and frequent meals in a day. Besides, the clamor is not just about his health. There are other issues being brought up against him. Some of them are: 1. Unregistered/Overpriced SizPasabuy products 2. Lack of preparation and research prior to travel e.g Sydney vlog 3. Overall lack of substance and quality of his content (compared to when he was just getting started in vlogging) 4. Unhygienic practices/ poor etiquette - Giving leftover food to the hotel receptionist, double dipping in the condiments (chilli in BKK) It may be better if he addresses these issues, acknowledge and apologize for mistakes as we are all human anyway. But instead, he goes and deletes unfavorable comments and even outright blocks some users. This gives off a vibe that he is arrogant and cannot be called out for his mistakes. I sincerely hope that he really isn’t like this. I hope he has the humility to accept the recent observations even if it hurts a little. This is a test of character and I really hope he comes out of this a better person. We still love you JM! ❤
