Never mind the League of Legitimate Nigerian Businessmen had an engineer teammate that said the distributor was installed correctly. Several broken teeth later, it was clearly not installed correctly.
National Corvair conventions, too, along with some local meets. I have a couple of powder coated Corvair valve covers that I should build up for racing.
@@michaelkrenzer3296 Actually, APV (All Purpose Vehicle) was G.M.s collective name for the entire series (Chevy Lumina APV, Pontiac Trans Sport/Montana, Olds Silhouette). I wasn't identifying your van as a Lumina APV, but rather using the corporate generic name because I didn't really look closely enough to tell exactly which one it is! But I realiz that the manual transmission wasn't from the factory. I was get-ready manager at a Chevy/Olds agency around 1990 when these vans were new, and I really liked them . . . Until the first time I had to clean the inside of the windshield. Then I drafted the lot boy (5'4" and skinny) to climb up on top of the dash to do the job! On an associated side note: where did the transaxle and shifter come from? The only similar applications I can think of are the Lumina Z-34 and smaller cars like the Beretta, Calais, and Grand Am. I had a 5-speed Beretta GT around that time, and didn't think much of the shifter in the car that it was designed for!
Road car bulletproof for 9 years, assplodes during endurance race. Experts baffled.
It's been racing for at least 5 years.
That rat fink, radio flyer, oreo, del sol mashup was incredible.

Ya gotta love the Rolls w/ the Viper V10
Wow using the primere feature?! Lemons is going big time! What’s next, the Kardashians putting a team together for Sears Point?
That racetrack identifies as Sonoma Raceway, doesn't it?
Dang! I was really rooting for a Triton V10 in the V10 rolls
4:36 a CH sticker on a lemons car? yeaah!
Longest 104 minutes of my life, it does give me time to get a snack together before the show.
I never Seen a DAMN ROLLS ROYCE DO 140 MPH (cannon ball)
Hella sweet song.

The engineers didn't know about the predamaged gears that did the sudden mulch conversion. We're blaming the mechanic side of the team 😂
One of these days someone's gotta build a Rolls-Royce with that dang ol' leaning tower of power.
It could be you
Siamese a couple of them at the crankcase and build your own 450 c.i. Rolls-Royce V-12! That should make "adequate" horsepower.
U know if u looked into the rare pinto wagons the gas tank pipe was on the side & the Ranger is pretty good mines on my pic 05 3.0 70k got it in 07
Valve/Rocker cover racers are a common thing on classic Mini meetings

The Dustbuster minivan is on like race 23...timing set and oil pump....and many 4t60e's before we went manual.
@@michaelkrenzer3296A stick in an APV? I love it! I wish that we had had one in our (former) Chevy Venture minivan.
@@corvairjim1 I will have you know it was a Trans Sport...swap kit is going to another team as such things were never offered factory.

@@corvairjim1 1999-2001 Cavalier with the non-ecotec. It is an F23 with a rare bellhousing pattern that matches the 3800.
Viper Rolls needs an Chinese Ebay turbo
That depends what the residual value is for a Viper-engined Rolls that actually finished a race.
Two. One for each cylinder bank, and twin intercoolers as well.
Our Volkswagen was a pain in the ass to work on, but it got fixed poorly and raced most of day 2. Still slow af with the 2.slow
