      @Tony-c5g9w that isn't meant to be taken literally. That refers to achieving success at all cost, stepping on others to get there. You won't be punished for being successful through honest work.

      one thing i would like to this is that not following your gut feeling, the gut feeling is an hard to explain feeling you got sometimes, it is unpredictable, you wont know when it'll happen or where, but it will lead you to success most of the time, always follow your gut feeling and ignore anyone and everyone else if you can, otherwise you will spend your whole life thinking about how your life would've been if you followed it, i wish everyone who reads this sets their mind and follows theirs, i am preparing to follow mine.

      "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself" ~ Franklin D. Roosevelt. We're all going to die anyway and all the wrong choices and mistakes you could make during your life will provide you with valuable lessons which will make you a better, more evolved human being. So it doesn't matter if you succeed right away or fail a couple of times, you always win in the long run (as long as your failures doesn't make you stop trying untill your goal is achieved). The paralyzing fear to fail is far more harmfull for you than failure itself could ever be. To conclude: All shots not fired are always missed and every missed shot will bring you closer to becoming the perfect marksman..😅

      Here is a **justified** summary paragraph in English about the **logismoi**:
      > The *logismoi* are intrusive thoughts or mental impulses described by early Orthodox Christian monks as the primary sources of spiritual struggle. According to Evagrius Ponticus, there are eight fundamental *logismoi*: gluttony, lust, avarice, sadness, anger, acedia, vainglory, and pride. These thoughts are not considered sinful in their first appearance, but they become harmful when a person entertains them, allowing them to influence emotions and actions. The goal of monastic spiritual practice is to recognize and confront these *logismoi* through vigilance, discernment, prayer, and interior stillness, preventing them from taking root in the heart and disrupting inner peace.

    [Mat 6:25-34 NKJV] 25 "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 "Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 "Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? 28 "So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 "and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 "Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, [will He] not much more [clothe] you, O you of little faith? 31 "Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32 "For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day [is] its own trouble.

      @joceffful Because in this day and age there are way too many distractions, keeping people in negative loop of mediocrity and constant border-line state of depression.. People are getting blasted with blue light, brainrot, and cheap dopamine entertainment (with instant gratification) from every direction. • @Notyouravgtard
      @Notyouravgtard 4 months ago

      @sanserof7 success is setting goals constantly in your life and achieving them one by one. The difference between a successful man and a failure is the successful man will do things the failure will not. Nobody likes to be uncomfortable. Nobody likes to work hard or get up early or push yourself. So failures don't. And successes do because they know they have to.

    Most people don’t fail because of a lack of opportunity - they fail because of a sickness they can’t even see. It’s not in their body. It’s in their attitude.

    • @Novastar.SaberCombat
      @Novastar.SaberCombat 4 months ago +15

      Nonsense. I've known dozens of people who busted their arses for decades (myself included) and remained unknown nobodies all the while. Talented, unique people. Some are d34d now. It's all *luck* and little else.

    • @pk3m3
      @pk3m3 4 months ago +8

      @Novastar.SaberCombat That is lazy take on it. Sure, it involves luck too as everything does in life but working hard and smart eliminates amount of luck you need. Most of people working do not lack opportunities, they are just too scared to take on them. I don't blame them, stable decent paying job is valuable as well, changing is always a risk.

    • @Novastar.SaberCombat
      @Novastar.SaberCombat 4 months ago

      @pk3m3 I can tell that you lack legitimate life experience. Nice try, but... *wrong.*

    • @Niaaal
      @Niaaal 4 months ago +3

      @Novastar.SaberCombatit's not not so black and white bro. Plus, he explains this in this same video. He said give everything you got in your work and you will either benefit from it or find out it's leading you nowhere. Your friends could have taken their har work elsewhere if they cared enough for their own success and not drift in the work of their bosses. Yes luck also has a play in this. It's a combination of all the above

    • @Novastar.SaberCombat
      @Novastar.SaberCombat 4 months ago +2

      @Niaaal "taken their work elsewhere"? And where would that have been, Mars? 🤔 You underestimate the people I knew. Some of them were *brilliant.* But their luck was atrocious. I'm not going to elaborate, but just know that many people struggle with insurmountable issues that cannot be solved by people who are alone.

      @Waleed-o7ymy interpretation of it is that when you say "it's either or" you personally are making a decision always. Choose one. The later part "Neither nor" just like in this video, saying a guy who have 5 reasons it won't work is stupid when you only need ONE, that is the mindset of choosing NOTHING. It's simple language that I might just be reading more into but logically this is what I could come up with to understand. It also made me think, why discuss NOTHING, when you do know it's POINTLESS, because it's NOTHING.

      No you didn’t.
      This is a religious speech on the faith of our time.
      The only thing he‘s telling people is to stop complaining and give it a 1000%.
      For no actual incentive.
      Aka conditioning the runts.
      All in the hope of being proven worthy and ascend to the pilot seat of the machine we live in.
      The sacrifices you make for money will keep you chained to it, no matter if it’s sinking or floating.

      @noahraab2429 I think you read something different to me---I simply took from it a reason to never get lazy with my writing, hobbies etc. Not that I don't see what you mean; after reading your message I rethink the advice/sermon and have to admit I can't debunk your appraisal---can't prove it either, but the point is you may be onto something. Anyway, I'm not the sort of person who ever toes the line, so whatever brainwashing this guy did/didn't intend simply wouldn't work on me, not to mention money holds literally no interest to me, outside paying rent

      He contradicts himself, too - "You must stand guard at the door of your mind, but you mustn't be cautious." "You shouldn't worry about what can go wrong, but you gotta be careful because your friends might metaphorically put strychnine in your coffee." Clear as mud.
