It's funny how fanmade games would be even better than the original games like Pokémon fanmade games what are even better than what Pokémon is today. I didin't knew there is a fanmade The Legend of Zelda games, I knew there is fanmade Pokémon and Super Mario games but fanmade Zelda games are something new for me and I like it. 😊❤
@@HelpTheWretched But it was unfinished. And I thought Tears of the Kingdom was gonna fixed that error since the story felt like it is divided into two with a playable Princess Zelda. Thus, give players the opportunity to explore the Ancient Hyrule. Sadly it didn't happen. Nintendo needs to stop putting her in the whole damsel in distress/ stereotypical role bullcrap!
@@NoxWyatt Yes it does. We have always seen things from Link’s perspectives. And it’s time for a fresh new concept to not only give her character a chance to shine. But to expand the story further on either Tears of the Kingdom or in the next Zelda game.
@@NoxWyatt It doesn't really *need* it, but playing as Zelda has been requested (and even teased by Nintendo itself) literally for almost 30 years since ocarina of time came out, that's why they added her into Smash Bros in the first place. A spin-off of ocarina of time through the eyes of Zelda, dealing with Hyrule's downfall under the guise of Sheik during the time Link was sealed away is something I desperately need in my life.
Nintendo is Nintendo. Nintendoception. I want to play that wheel of fate game. Link had pink hair in A Link to the Past which is probably why he has pink hair in The Legend of Princess.
I like to think my fan-game would be considered Amazing if anybody had ever played it! Hecc, I didn’t even get to play it until more than a year later. I made the sorry mistake of thinking people would enjoy a split-screen, two players to one PC, versus battle game based on the Wibbles games from my youth.
@@vincentcabezas7147 Yeah, I think you're right. I mainly showed it to other people making Zelda fan games, and didn't make much effort to share it around. It would be funny if there was a sudden interest after all these years.
Since you included mods in your definition of fangames, this whole list should have been nothing but mods since there are a ton of amazing ones for OOT alone.
I don't know why people get so pissed off at Nintendo when these fan devs are literally slapping "The Legend of Zelda" on the game, sometimes even the trademarked logo. If you're going to use Nintendo created assets like some of these games do, you're gambling from the get-go. The BotW NES game literally used the game's logo, ffs. Does it suck sometimes? Yes, absolutely. But Nintendo is completely within their legal right to do so. That's just the way copyright and intellectual property law work.
Hey, MojoPlays. You guys should definitely do a list of the Top 20 Best Fan-Made Sonic Games. I have some examples they should be mentioned. Examples: Sonic Before the Sequel Sonic After the Sequel Sonic the Hedgehog Triple Trouble 16-Bit Sonic Galactic Sonic Time Twisted Sonic GT Sonic Project '06 - It is the best version of Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) and it's perfect. This is the fanmade Sonic game that Sega missed out on if they had not rush the game for the holiday 2006 deadline and look like trash.
Fallen Sage and Time's Menagerie XD Oh wow, did you even play those games? They're notorious for being awful. Even the maker has disowned them. And he's done some actually great stuff since then with Hyrule Total War. There are way better Zelda RPGs out there, like Winds of Eternity.

No Missing Link, Dark Hyrule Fantasy or Master of Time?
master of time is good until the end...
Dark hyrule fantasy has been canceled unfortunately, the creator decided to take the idea and remake it into an original game!

That The Legend of Princess old pixel-art style 2d platformer Zelda fanmade game looks realky awesome what I wan't to try! :O
I personally haven't played any of these fan games, but I'll need to think over Dawn and Dusk as well as Voyager of Time.
Indigo Chapter 2 is like an actual Majoras Mask Sequel. The quality is unbelievable.
I would like to see a fan made Zelda game that served as a companion story to Skyward Sword where you get see things from Zelda’s perspective.
Reportedly, Nintendo had planned exactly that for the “second quest” in Skyward Sword.

Definitely gotta try out those two ocarina of time spin offs. I thought you could still backflip as kid link in the original game maybe not.

Zelda being my favorite ip ever in games. I am at awe that I never heard of one of these games…
