Groot 3315: Mack LR Heil Odyssey Curotto Can Garbage Truck

For those of you who are pretty familiar with my channel, you probably already know that most Groot trucks I film are run out of the Elgin shop. That is not the case here, as this one is actually from Aurora, the other old Republic shop. This shop was 100% diesel up until just a few weeks ago, when they opened up their CNG fueling station. A good amount of new CNrG Mack LR 25 yd Meridians and CNG versions of the truck in this video were bought, and if I’m not mistaken most of the older diesels were either taken out of service or sent away as part of Waste Connection’s plan to modernize the rest of the fleet in the far west and north suburbs. As for this truck, I believe it runs a different contract now as Naperville is just about all CNG trucks, with the exception of some diesel yard waste trucks or help trucks from time to time. So with that being said, I hope you enjoy what I guess is now a pretty rare occurrence in this particular contract.

Love it! I still think the Groot paint job is the best in the business and yes I’m biased because that’s where I got my start. I’ll throw in a good word for the Recology white with blue and green accents too though (biased again.)

Awesome video! This truck was very fun to watch! I loved how smooth the truck was and I really loved the driver’s operating style. All the lid flips and the different carts were really cool too! The LR cab pairs up pretty nicely with the heil body and it looks really cool in Groot’s paint. Overall, a very entertaining video!

Seems like a heavily carted area hope there was still a lot of Manual cans to dump
Naperville has been automated for trash for quite some time look how old most of the Ottos are
@@MidwestTrashTrucks I know that but you don’t have to have carts there that’s why I hope there’s still a lot of houses with manual bins
Yeah not really around here, with most houses having had carts for over a decade they’re used to that system

I just saw Naperville groot trucks Chanel and he has some meridians posted does this yard have any of those I think the trucks he films are from aurora shop but I don’t know.
Yes the trucks you are referring to and this truck are from the same shop.
