It's funny, the second you hear the name Flanigan's Hole, you have a perfect mental image of the bar they're talking about. You've been to tons of them and they're all exactly the same. A pseudo-Irish pub with dark wood furniture, a bunch of Guinness posters, and Dropkick Murphys/Flogging Molly/Irish folk music constantly playing on the sound system. They have Guinness, Harp, and probably Smithwick's on tap, they serve a bunch of variations of a black and tan, and they have a shepherd's pie on the menu that's pretty good but nothing special.

Eh, to be completely honest, I still don't have trouble seeing Alison Brie as a 19 year old in this series. She pulls it off nicely. They might be the same age in real life, but they played their age difference pretty well. Make up and costume design must have really pulled their weight around the set.
I’m not sure if Joel McHale improvised Jeff scoffing at Tyra Banks or if it was purposely written that way, but that moment in particular makes me chuckle because Joel called the Opie and Anthony radio show back in 2007 (pre-Community) and was trashing Tyra. Definitely worth a listen.
That's kind of the point. That's why Troy was so mad; Britta and Jeff are the ones that are more "adult" (Pierce is a man-child, Abed is kinda atypical on that regard and Shirley is more defined by her role as mother), so the fact they spend the whole episode arguing about it, when they were supposed to have everithing figured out was infuriating to him. Troy saw them as what he should be, and it turned out they were just as lost as him
