Another 13 is very abstract. Oddly, some people who wear it, can't smell it. Fortunately, I get wafts of it for 8 to 10 hours. Beautiful off the skin and a heavy compliment puller--if that's important to you. It's a fragrance that doesn't smell like a fragrance. People just think you smell really fucking good.
Very interesting psychological phenomenon getting annoyed at someone that smells better than us eh? 🤣 Requires further study. Anyway, I'm so glad to hear you've found the one Steve! I can imagine there are more than a few envious enthusiasts out there still dreaming of the day their compulsions will come to an end. Incidentally, I've always considered this fragrance one of the best representations of the true scent of ambroxide, rather than the spiky, headache inducing woody ambers so often associated with the compound. Nathalie Lorson did a solid job on this one.
I just found out about this scent yesterday and it smelled so good, yesterday!
I still have the scent in my memory!!
The woman who was wearing it, was kind enough to show me what it was and by the time I got home, I forgot the name but I knew it had the #13 in it.
So, I just typed a word with the #13 and I finally found it and it is expensive but I'm going to buy a bottle for myself as my birthday present which is coming up on August 13th!!😅😂
But, I'm with you, it such a wonderful smelling perfume/cologne!!
It's smell like a guy's cologne but it's soft enough for a woman, too!!
I'm with you Stephen, I love it and you might like this other scent called Amber by
Namat Artisan perfumery and I buy it from Whole foods. and it was $50, which I thought was expensive but that's nothing compared to this new one that I now love!!😊
A good alternative to this is Muse by Who is Elijah 👍🏻
I'll have to try this one. That is the ultimate scenario isn't it, where you find something that you absolutely love.
What a story! I’ve never tried Another 13 but it sounds lovely! I made a similar such purchase in early December, as it happens, of a fragrance I fell love with, but struggled to justify cost-wise, yet have worn virtually everyday since. And that fragrance is Green Irish Tweed - my new favourite scent 😎.

If you’re looking for a good dupe spray I think your best bet is gonna be Another 14 by Montagne. They’re New York based and orders are compounded to order but shipping to the UK is a lot that’s why I’d recommend oils.
Cheaper alternatives are gonna be oils. There’s an entire thread about them on fragrantica but in terms of quality Universal Perfume Oil (Kuwait based) & APO (UK) are the front runners. Some even saying that Alexandria purchases from Universal and just dilutes and bottles their dupes.
Apart from those two there’s Precious Pearls (UK). Which is much cheaper but good quality as well. Would be great if you could try the above three for a video.
To echo what a below commenter said feels like this was a completed frag journey video. If it was,fairplay mate. I been subbed to you since your channel was in the early couple hundreds frags to riches days. Even won one of your giveaways at one point too 😂. You smashed it mate 👍
Thanks for the support. Genuinely really appreciated. I had strongly considered stopping creating frag videos this year and this frag seemed like a good ending. BUT, I'm going to Esxence in a few weeks so think I've got a bit more content left ..... 👍🏻

Bought a bottle 3 years ago, totally agree with you. My only concern is the duration of the fragrance nowadays. It seems not lasting anymore. Any comments on this topic?
I think it's just one that you go anosmic to. As I often can't smell it but other people comment on my scent 🤷🏻♂️
@@EverymanFragrances I really do want to believe you, I have done this test many times during those 2 years. With Another 13 and Bacarat rouge extract they say the same thing, I do smell these after 30min - 8,10hrs. I do not mind to pay the money but it needs to be justified. Of course this is all my subjective meaning 😉
Love it too mate. Sort of blind bought a 50ml and nearly pumped through it because it’s an awesome dumb reach and like you said has something special! Wish it wasn’t so bloody expensive! Will get the 100ml for sure!
Yeah, one of those frags that are hard to describe, but just smells so good!
So I’ve bought a sample of this after your video. First day of wearing it I’ve had wofts all day. Can’t say I’ve found my favourite fragrance but it’s ok. Will keep testing it to see if it grows on me. Over 200 fragrances now and I can say I only have 10 that I’d wear forever. Graf heads are never happy are we. Cheers mate.

Wow glad you chased that beauty down! Never smelled it but looks like this gets compared to "not a perfume" by Juliette has a Gun, I have a decant of that and I do like it.

Hilarious. I did not expect this one when you first started the video. I LOVE the fragrance too lol on my second bottle as my girlfriend took my first one.
Got a 10ml decant and perfume parlour extract version now to compare. I'm confused at the min, feels a bit like the story of the emperor's new clothes in that there is nothing there. So far only a very mild skin scent that doesn't project. Is there a chance the girl in your story was wearing a body moisturiser that Another 13 amplified? Will keep trying though, thanks for the video!
It's definitely a frag that you can go anosmic to. I sometimes think I can't smell it at all but then had a office of people commenting how good I smell. I smell it more if I've not worn it for a week or so. The woman in question had big curly hair and I suspect she sprayed her hair, which was then wofting and creating a sillage.
Having smelled and compared to PP and original they are very different. Another 13 has zero sweetness and smells of woods and almost like damp sawdust but in a good way. The PP extract has this in the background but introduces a slight marshmallow aldehyde sweetness. I'm not sure which I prefer since both are subtle but think I'm leaning PP based on price. Probably needs some experimenting on feedback from others.

@@EverymanFragrances yeah definitely! It opens differently but is about 95% the same after 20/30 mins.
love 13, but i got noir 29 instead, have an issue with its longevity.
think its because the perfumes get craeted then sent, no time for settlement.
so it lasts 4 hours, which is terrible for the price point, i hope it increases in due time

@@DandyInLuv a month or two, generally would be enough, it gives enough time for the oxygen and the oils to work their magic.

I'm fascinated by this fragrance look at the comments on fragrantica some people can't smell it at all some people say its to animalic & some say its really good. I had a sample & didn't think it was anything special but I got so many compliments off women I've never known anything like it so I needed up buying it 😂

Alexandria Fragrances has a very good Le Labo version called 'Other 13'. Have you had a sniff? I agree this is very good and highly complimented.

You have got me intrigued… I wonder what Eden and perfume parlours inspired impressions are like. Can’t really justify the price for the real thing at the moment!
The OG is ridiculously expensive. I managed to get a hefty discount but even so it was a lot. I've not tried any clones but I worry they will lose that "magic".....
@@EverymanFragrances They is very true. Especially with these kind of scents. I’ve tried countless versions of molecule 01 but none are the same as the Escentric molecules version regardless of the claims in my experience.

I REALLY wanted to like Another 13.. Sadly enough, I can’t stand it and I’m sad about it. Saw the hype, purchased a sample. Didn’t like it. Watched more reviews and thought, maybe my sample was bad. Purchased a full bottle and it smells like a Cheap Hooker 😂. Have you tried Reveur Obsidian? Thats a winner for me!!

Yes. I just bought 2 samples. It is a let down. Maybe it suits for cool, calm, enclosed environment, like in the office or library. Good for in-house night activities or dates. Because it is not offensive or manly. But it doesnt leave much trail.
I really believe it has a bigger silage than you think as you go anosmic to it but people are always commented on it when I wear it and I followed a massive trail of it at my Xmas party.
Fragrance is subjective though so one fragrance isn't for everyone 🤷🏻♂️
Seems like you have completed your frag journey. Are you officially out of the frag game now?. You still going to be making frag videos or was this the as Jay from inbetweeners would say “Completed it mate”?.

Just bought a sample. Really curious to smell Another13 but my wild days blindbuying dozens of bottles are pretty much done - especially at this price point😅
Totally can relate with you saying you're pretty much done with the fragrance-game or at least it feels like this at the moment. I also found my 3-5 9.5/10(Nasomatto Baraonda, Zegna Milan, Ormonde Jayne Montabaco Intensivo, DHI) fragrances ...saying that, maybe Another13 can also sneak it's way in my favorites 😄
