Walker is abit poor in 1v1 defending nowadays. He would rather let someone run past him and defend using speed. I would say age is creeping in
Doku on the right is not good. Pep knows that but he doesn't want to drop grealish
Doku is very raw talent. A young player first time at big club in a new country. I think it is only fair to start judging Doku properly mid-way through next season.
Kovacic deserved a higher rating than Haaland in my opinion.

I hope Alvarez finds his superb form again so he can start scoring bangers for City. Alvarez been playing in the midfield so long he forgot he's striker.
He was not given any passes in the final third at all in yesterday’s game. Hence the one shot. He was more defensive striker.
I think Alvarez is a little selfish. He tries difficult shots rather than passing to someone in better position. He also looses the ball a lot. I would like Pep to use Oscar Bobb more as he is more creative than Alvarez too and great in small spaces.
@egoi6421 Bobb can play on the wing for Bernado Silva. Bobb wasted on the bench, he might leave like Palmer.

Ortega held his own with distribution....80% with higher shot stopping capability and maybe a better penalty guy too....I'll take Ortega.

I know Ortega is a good shot-stopper. In big games, however, City concedes far more shots when Ortega is in the goal. City loses possession because he's not as good as Ederson with the ball in his feet. As a 2nd choice GK I'd say he's good enough.
Ake is by far our best defender while Gvardiol is better going Forward, Haaland just needs service.

This was scary, especially the 1st half. We could have easily lost the game. Players looked tired after the BHA fixture in the mid-week. I noticed that Rodri really needs a good rest. Struggled to keep the ball (almost in 50% chances).
Walker is a 4. He was captain but showed no leadership, got dribbled pass . He got caught in Aina’s pocket …
Really glad to have got the 3 points!! We weren't great but the lads found a way to win, which is all you have to do at this stage in the season. Really really happy to see Erling back on the score sheet, he absolutely needed that, he saw his golden boot being threatened and reclaimed top spot! He's also only 3 premier league goals away from becoming our 4th highest goal scorer in the premier league era 😳 absolutely mental seeing as he's only been here 2 seasons, also De Bruyne is only 2 assists off becoming the 2nd highest assister in premier league history, just further enhances his legend status! As for the Homer/Haaland question I have no clue, never watched the Simpsons other than when it briefly pops up after a programme and sends me rushing to find the remote 😂 Lastly I think Doku has been a good signing for City and he'll only improve in the coming years! I trust doku to become better gradually bc he's only 21. These things take time and it's his first season in the prem but i think pep should take him out of the firing line for the rest of this season bc he's quite inconsistent but I'm looking forward to the final version of Jeremey doku in a few years. And I certainly wouldn't call him a flop
I think against Wolves , Ortaga should start in goal , And if Doku plays , He should be out on the wing , not central , but give him time , its his 1st season at CITY , and in the Prem .

Alvarez was more of defensive striker. Yesterday he was.not given any passing in final third hence one shot. His work rate is why Forest couldn’t get anything off. He had to cover a lot of his teammates misplaced passes by pressing the opponents into a mistake. Silva and Rodri was atrocious in the first half and Kova helped it solidify the middle and put Silva on the wing.
Dias should sit out for the rest of the season keep starting Ake n Akanji for these last games

Def did not pass very well, but the effort was there for all to see. At times our defense looked slow maybe we were physically and mentally tired.
Yikes Walker had a shocker. 6.5 way too high. But i think the thing we forget is performances don't happen in a vacuum. With him and Doku on the same side, Walker had alot less help. Also asking for more creativity from Bernardo is misunderstanding the fella. He's not in there for that, and we should never expect that from him. we should expect him to complete simple passes though
Doku has always been like this, and he will not change, he doesn't have a good vision of the game, BUT what he is good at, he is the best at, i noticed he plays a lot better with Foden, and even better when KDB isn't there, they, sadly for the belgian team, don't play well together, not because of a lack of understanding, but when you have KDB's passes, you don't need dribbles, i would use Doku as a sub against defensive teams when in need of a breaktru, and, his visions isn't going to get better if you keep moving him from left to middle to right and back.

I think He had a really bad game, kept getting beaten on the right hand side and made a lot of mistakes. luckily for us we didn't concede but walker has been quite shady the whole season. 5 would be really generous for walker

I have been asking for Pep to bench Ederson and keep playing Ortega. Ortega is gaining more confidence and his distributions rates with the foot is getting better every game he played. I prefer Ortega over Ederson

Two points, without Ortega we would have been out of the title race. He is the best keeper to come of the bench for Man City. The other point is that the argument of Haaland versus Alvarez. Haaland isn't as technically gifted or have the nifty footwork but he wins games. I would take him over a guy who is technically gifted but only scores a goal every 3 or 4 games

Yes Haaland has not been as good as he was last season, yes he has missed a lot of goals but he is on top of the goal scoring charts even though he has missed almost 3 months of play. Do you think Alvarez is better? He has also been poor. You cannot drop a player who scores a goal a game on average for one who scores one in 3.
