This is our second K-Classic. We had our first one for many years, so when we had to replace it, we wanted nothing else but this exact ruclips.net/user/postUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf model. We use it for about three people everyday in the morning. The taste and quick brew is one of the reasons we like it so much. There are so many choices of brands of coffee that we would grab what was on sale and test the different brands from there. I would definitely recommend trying different brands of coffee to find the ones you like the most because there are brands that quite frankly taste horrible.
So many cold brew devices out there in the market - amazing tech and product design for this one. Already see how I can use it for tea brewing and hot filter as well...
You put the lid on upside down over the rainmaker. Just makes it easier to remove afterwards if it's on the right way, doesn't affect the performance obviously.
Mine failed to work today, for the first time. I've used it about 15 times without a hitch. Today.. coffee everywhere! Once I got it working again, I stuck it in a big mixing bowl, just in case it decides to fail while I sleep.
I put my AeroPress paper filter over the metal filter of my Oxo after watching this video and reading the comments. It was just a hair's breadth snug, but it fit okay. I don't know if it was because of the filter, but I had a harder time than usual trying to line up the vertical lines. Anyway, whether it was the paper filter, or whether I somehow knocked the spring into open position, it was a fiasco! I had coffee and grounds all over my kitchen. .. After cleaning up the mess I took out the paper filter and gently nudged the spring, just in case it was the spring. Now it's working just fine - no leaking! I will never try it with a paper filter again. There's that old saying.. "If it ain't broke..."

That's a LOT of grounds for 16oz of coffee. And I don't know what Oxo is thinking but there's no way 16oz makes 7 cups of coffee! 2-3 at most. Thanks for the video. I'm not wasting my money

Great idea! The lid is so hard to remove. I always have to get a knife to get mine out.
Why do i need the "rain maker" to distribute the water if the ground coffe will be submersed anyway?
You don't. Although in any cold brew container, you need to pour the water directly onto the grounds, and do it slooooowly, so they all get saturated.
I'm getting this tomorrow. I'm currently using the mason jar variation. This looks great and very convenient
