I cannot thank you enough for posting this. I did a 24 hour urine test and was diagnosed with hypercalcemia. Because of a kidney stone. I fell last year and had to have my rotator cuff fixed and was told my bones were soft when they put in the five anchors. I did not do the bone scan but I will now after listening to you.
I liked this video. I went to family doctor for dizziness and fatigue and depression. She really couldn't very out why i was having these symptoms. After doing regular bloodwork, she discovered i had high level calcium in blood. I was referring to endo doc who told me to take 24 hr urine samples. Now they have me scheduled to thyroid scan. Ive had these symptoms for at least 1 year and regular doctor can't help. It sounds like i may have hypercalcemia. I will know for sure in a week after my scan test.
Very interesting … thank you. I have gone through the whole diagnostic process as you described and I am hoping to have the operation in a few weeks. It has been a long process and for me the symptoms have been very difficult to live with; especially the fatigue and bone pain. Like many other sufferers I put my symptoms down to getting older. Knowing that my life may significantly improve has been such a relief so I am really looking forward to the surgery. Again, thank you the video.

The urine test is not diagnostic, but informative.
My calcium slightly high 10.5
OK if you are under 50 years old, but if over, you should be in the 9s.
@@VoIPPortlandthat depends on lab, and doctor doing the work. It's also said to be if you over 40 the high end is 10.2
