Buzzbait bass are so fun to catch especially the big ones because sometimes they won't get it and you see a swirl followed by the surface of the water just start sinking so much fun.
Good stuff keyes, but don't you think the braid to flouro is kind of pointless? I've caught thousands of buzzbait fish all year long over the years and never needed braid to flouoro in any situation or cover. Straight flouro in 17lbs or straight braid in 40-50lbs is all you need, a leader knot (for me) is a weakspot and more likely to break than either main line. Casting distance isnt really an issue unless you're bank fishing, and braid isn't neccessary for hook setting power when youre using a Heavy POWER (not heavy action, action is the flex or the taper of the rod, theres no such thing as a heavy action, thats been mis-termed since rods were created, only fast, moderate, slow, and combinations there of are actions, heavy is the power). And I've experimented in-depth with swimbait trailers, rage style trailers, and creature style trailers with no skirt on the buzzbait. I love the swimbaits, and I love a good rage bug, and another go to option is the pit boss. I go with the swimbait most days, but I prefer a gold blade on a cloudy day in the fall, I've never caught one using a black blade. Great content, you guys never dissapoint.

Oh hey, Brock. My forte is lakes with primitive accesses that are difficult if not impossible to put a regular boat in. I do a lot of research on the OnX app trying to find public entry points that I can either slip a kayak in off the road or literally drag the kayak through publicly owned woods to the lake.. I’ve gotten to some of these lakes and totally flamed.. It can be a lot of work. These are not stocked fish. You just have to put in the effort to get to places bass see lures less. Thanks for allowing me to clarify this.
I mean I throw a frog all summer.. But not always my first choice knowing there are giant schools offshore somewhere and not having to fight overgrown pad fields. It’s just good/better/best during the spring and fall spectrums.
That’s some beautiful fish. I’ve been doing some research on the old town ap and it looks like it stable. Also looked at the graph setup. Surprised you don’t have the blk storage box.
way to get em,@"Keys"- I been throwin the crap outta buzz baits;with the EeL-Liminator trailin on a sugar buzz;pit boss on a black bladed Terminator,Frog on the Strike King Pre- rigged...I can go on.Crappy part is here in W.V, we haven't had a night dip below 50 yet and the days are still hot.so our fall trans will be late this year. This season has been phenominal for me;but the last 2 weex has been a serious struggle..#HanginInThere...
Black is kind of my go-to overall. Deep discussion with buzzbait color or topwater for that matter but my confidence is in black. I like less flashy and more focused on the part with the hook.
@@Wired2Fish Come on, you know damn well what I'm saying, aggressive bass are EASY to catch... very easy to capitalize on. So, what are you doing differently in this video than for non aggressive bass ?
@@jerrylanglois7892 You could fish all day and catch two non aggressive bass wasting your time with finesse fishing when toads are smashing buzzbaits. Do you fish in public water ever? Or just private lakes, full of stocked bass? Takes talent to catch those fish that never see lures. Congrats

Wait all summer to throw topwater again???🤔
We throw topwater all summer
You certainly can, but spring and fall will have more fish concentrated shallow. Just sets up better for topwater.

Super stable in this 13.5 footer. Stand up and deliver big hooksets, cast, and sight fish with ease!

Hi
Any ideas in water temps for this?
It was 63 this day.
What was the weight on the buzzbait? Thanks!
Hey Eric, that was a 1/2 ounce. Thanks for watching!
Are you throwing black blades because of over cast or do you throw black blades anytime sunny or what ever?

I’ve found that the more annoying the blade the better the bite
Yah a lot of guys tweak to get the squeak!
Why would I need tips to catch aggressive bass, aggressive bass are easy, it's tips for non aggressive bass I need.

My boy catching big fish but this aint no lake
This a stocked pond brother come on lol
Still nice fish
Hey Jason, scroll down and refer to another comment about this subject. We don’t have stocked ponds in the north country.

Great starter tips but I thought we were getting into advanced tips, mods, etc and glad we kept it a secret. Tight lines.

Hi
