- This video is about Lilia and Alicia's taste of Ghana school experience. If you are moving to Ghana with children and planning on sending your kids to school this is a great video to watch.
Mr. Nimo, you are such a great Dad, like nobody will ever send their children to the government school after moving from Abroad to Ghana, especially from the UK. No, I'm being real here 😳 tell me I'm lying
Efya thank you! We are trying the best for the kids. It’s good to let them see both worlds.
@@FamilyByNature Exactly I really like 👍 your sense of humor
I understand him ,government schools is not that bad we all went to government school from the scratch..There they will learn the local language fast... THE MOST INTELLIGENT 🧠 STUDENTS ARE FROM THE GOVERNMENT SCHOOLs , why is it that at the secondary level the government schools are the best compared to the private ones...???
@@africadiasporachannel4837 You can say that again and again
Some governments schools are very good. Most especially in the metropolis.
I am so proud of my girls. They are very happy in their school.
Indeed they’ve adapted very well and love their school.
I also want to come to Ghana and send my child my boy to school. Are your girls going to the public school of Ghana and how can I do that ? Can we choose a school that is closer where we live and one more question how much I should pay? Thank you in advance for your answers💖💐
@@lionsmart9208 pay nothing
@@brefoenock7234 really, wow! 👍👍👍 I love Ghana💖👏
Mr. NIMO makes the moving back to Ghana perspective so simple. HE is very simple and goes with the flow. He is 💯💯 practical.
My brother, you are just too much. Your smiles coupled with the originality with which you present your stories are so authentic. I love this family.
Aww thank you for your kind words, bro! Much love from the family!
It's obvious that she's nervous, a good experience in a new location... Great you're supporting them to unravel their cultural legacy of their society.. well them.
Thank you!
You’re so calm and extremely family oriented just like me and my brother. You’ve really won my heart with your sincerity and how you relate to the girls. I wish the girls all the happiness and success they can ever have in Ghana.
Thanks so much, Richard! Much appreciated.
Awww… this is such a wonderful video with Daddy and his beautiful princesses. Priceless to see them smiling, chatting, and happy about their school; even able to sing a hymn and say a prayer. Wonderful!!
Thank you so much, Michelle!
Well done Sir, that was a bold step bringing your children back home.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Raise them in the fear of the Lord and expose them to our treasured values as Africans eg. our well knitted family system. Smart move once again especially in this age and time where the West is indoctrinating the next generation with strange values and ethics, defiling the whole social and moral fibre of humanity🙏🏾You have our blessings and “muscle” to ensure this move is successful…kudos!!!
Quick one…are you relocating permanently or it’s just a temporary settlement to align the children with our local exposure?
It’s a permanent move please. We are now 16 months here:)
Many thanks for watching and for the amazing comment! It’s like you can read my mind lol. Moving back home was the best decision we took as a family. The family knows the extended family and especially the children bonding with their grandma. Let’s connect please. Kindly send an email to: email@familybynature.family.
@@FamilyByNature Thanks for taking the time to respond. I will surely keep in touch soon via your e-mail.👍
@@kta3073 My pleasure. Thanks too.
This is beautiful,,the bond between father and kids..very powerful.
I was a bit worried that your children might find it difficult to adjust but no longer. How lovely to see how happy Alicia and Lydia are. I wish them joy and success and all the best for the whole family! By the way the prayer you said, Alicia, is the “Lord‘s Prayer” that people pray all over the world. There is a version of it in nearly every language. And “obroni” is not an offence or expression of dislike - I’d be called obroni if I came to visit you in Ghana one day too.
Thanks Andy! Yes they’ve really adapted very well considering five of them have not been to Ghana before. Yes she knew about Obroni, but she got overwhelmed with the number of kids following her with Obroni Obroni lol. Same with her class. It made her feel uncomfortable.
WOW. I am VERY PROUD of FAMILY by NATURE!! Your children at a public school in Ghana!! You are the first to give your children REAL feel of their DNA educational experience !!🤣
Odopa thanks a lot!
Lovely kids/lovely family, you guys will always be missed in the UK 🇬🇧. Love the way the kids are just ready to blend in 🇬🇭. Amazing 👌💪🙏🙏🙏❤️
Fred we miss you guys soo much. Will always cherish the great times we had together. You are a brother and a great student. Greetings to Dee and the Stoke family!
I have now discovered uor channel but trust me am really, really enjoying your content i think u really have a nice family may God bless your family and uor entire generation am Richard a student in KNUST
Awww thanks a lot, Richard! Amen and God bless you too!
Much respect to your kids, I personally went through the same experience in Ghana and I didn’t even have light skin color. It’s not fun but it developed my character. As the saying goes, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. We laugh with these things but honestly it’s a big ask knowing how schools in Europe are.
Many thanks!
Tell you what brother, in the future God willing the world will be at the fingertips of your children. I hope and pray for the unity of your family 👪
Amen and thanks my brother! God bless you!
Wow wow.
We wish them bright future.
Ghana need them in the future.
Young lady's calm everything wil be fine.
Thank you! They’ve settled well in their new school.
The our father prayer is a very powerful prayer....first time coming across your channel from Jamaica.
Indeed it is! Glad you found our channel:) My in-law is half Jamaican, half Ghanaian.
I’m so jealous about the banku and okra stew for lunch. They are enjoying!
Oh yes I think I’m going to enrol myself lol
Great family and educative insight into how the children were able to cope up with different systems of things
in Ghana. Be blessed.
Many thanks! Stay blessed too.
Great Dad, beautiful family, new sub here 🎉 keep inspiring us
Awww thanks and welcome to the family!
Ghana girls rock🇬🇭❤️🔥
There are definitely challenges living in Ghana but I know they are going to learn a lot. And it's good they have an option to go back to UK when they grow and are willing to go back.
Thank you! You are absolutely right. They love their new school and made a lot of friends. They are picking the language very well too.
It’s so nice to hear about the girls school experience.
So nice to know the girls have been enrolled in schools and they are settling in👍🏽🙏🏽👏🏽💕💐👸🏽👸🏽💃🏽♥️♥️

I just discovered you,wow how I love you and your interactions with your children.Am amazed.keep it up
Nana thank you! Welcome to the family!
I have really enjoyed this video. God bless you for bringing them home.
Amen and thanks!
Oh my Alicia you are looking great in your uniform. You will have great time and fun in the school. You will learn a lot and will have such a great experience. In England the school our children goes to is a public school. I know how you feel girls, the toilet facilities are not great.I hope the head teacher will do something about the toilet facilities. It's not fair on the children. I'm glad you have found another school with good facilities. All the best of luck in your education in Ghana. Well done Mr and Mrs Nimo 👏 👍 😀
Thank you Genevieve! Yes in England all the kids went to public schools. I think the public schools in Ghana are overstretched in terms of the resources available. In terms of academics many of them are great. Many have big class sizes which exert pressure on the resources at hand. The headteacher is a very good friend of mine and we talked about some of the challenges facing them. Regarding the toilet facilities they have staff that oversees it’s clean. Alicia’s problem was the construction since it was dug in the ground and she had to squat lol.
Your kids are very funny and straight that's good 👍
Thanks Kwabena! They are really easy going and have adapted very well.
Mr Nimo theres no words to describe how you parent and relate to your children even in these pre teen years. You and your wife obviously are doing an amazing job ! The girls seem to be intergrating well with yalls support.
They can always make friends in the UK, but The friends they make in GH will liteeally be lifelong .. brother / sister kind of relationships. This is one of the best life gifts you could give your children
Thanks for the kind words. Bonding with the kids is the core of our family. The kids are like our friends so we do a lot together and they feel free to tell us everything. The headmaster and the teachers are very impressed with how easy going they are. They’ve really integrated well. Thanks for all your encouragement. We appreciate you!
Great experience
Indeed!
Lovely , father and daughters time .
I enjoyed every bit of your video. Thank you so much for sharing!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video.
Beautiful family wish you guys all the best 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

Beautiful hearts and family. Sending you all my love and blessings.😘
Thanks so much, Gloria! Our love to you too.
You are really a family man, and that's great.
I appreciate that, Sam! Thank you!
Great experience, your children are very humble and respectful. Keep it up
Thanks a lot, Bright!
Lovely
Thank you!
Hello; Very glad for the session with your girls. I hope the rest of the family are doing fine as well. I remember seeing two of your boys in earlier videos, and I think you said one of your daughters is still in europe. You have a humble family starting with the woman of the house and how she's quickly adapt "abibir-man"🇬🇭
Thank you for watching, Junta! Yes our daughter Naomi is in the UK with our grandson. She’s the second of our seven children. They will be visiting us. Thanks for the kind words.
Gosh I love this
Thank you!
Wow she's looking good in her uniform wai
Yes:)
Nice video I did enjoyed watching it
Thank you, Eunice!
Love this family ❤️
Thank you!
Just came across this channel and I subscribed. I went to Martyrs and Owass high school. I salute you Senior Katakyie.
Thanks Katakyie Paul!
Love you girls you are so sweet
Aww thanks!
Love your channel. I appreciate this video. I'm aiming to move to Ghana and I watch many RUclips videos with adults that have children mostly talking about their experiences. Alot of them usually don't include their children's experiences. This helps me alot. I'm a mother with a small child so I'm glad to come across content that will help me with schooling my child. Your children definitely helped thanks.
Aww many thanks! Wishing you all the best with your relocation. If you need any further information please send an email to: email@familybynature.family.
U are a great Dad
Thanks so much, Abena!
Soo lovely 😍 👌 👍 🥰
Thank you!
You are showing your children humility, you are such a great daddy, should it be someone he will choose expensive international school for his kids..he will not allow them to attend government school.
Thanks a lot, Morrison!
Wow what a wonderful and great children, you can say that again Princess the real food.
Thank you, Collins!
@@FamilyByNature You most welcome Daddy
I told Nimo he's my role model as a parent. I started high school with him at Opoku Ware and I have always felt he's an amazing guy.
Aww thanks Katakyie! Thanks and merry Christmas to you and the family!
They are beautiful ladies
Thank you!
Great job👍

Infact Dad,,you have made your kids experienced everything so plssss daddy,,take the girls to private school..Public school is good but a bit too much for my beautiful shy princess,..Dad,,plssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss international school or private nice school. We beg you daddy.
Thanks Mercy. They are already in a private school. Only Alicia went to the public school for a day:)
Just focus your study that is very important my dear
Thank you!
Hahhaha- Your children comparison is making crack up😂🤣😎
Lol thanks for watching!
Hello dear family by nature,
I really enjoy looking at youre Videos ! Thumbs up ! I am from Gemany do youre kids also speak german ? Liebe Grüße
Thank you, Kara! Alicia and Lilia were born in the UK so they don’t speak German although they understand a lot as we speak mostly German at home. David was also a year old when we left Germany so he doesn’t speak German. Apart from that all the kids speak fluent German. Liebe Gruesse von uns auch.
❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks!
Hello family🤚🏽🤚🏽
Hello Stanley! Hope all is well. Have a wonderful weekend!
Your children will be the first female President in Ghana.
Thanks for the big aspiration, Shirley! Not sure they will go into politics, because they love creative entrepreneurship including building their own fashion brands which I’m helping them to achieve. I’m getting a seamstress to start training them.
Mr. Nimo please you have to move them from the government school to a good private school. Government school at the UK is totally different from that of Ghana.
Thanks for watching. They’ve been in a private school for almost a year now. She was in the government school for a day.
@@FamilyByNature oh that’s great. I’ve missed a lot of videos 😄. I need to go back and watch all👍. KUDOS ❤️
Unfortunately our public schools has been screwed over. We can't pride ourselves with that anymore
Not like when we were growing up unfortunately. Back in the days public schools were like private schools.
@@FamilyByNature sad truth. My husband and I want to move back to Ghana. The only thing keeping us now are the kids. If the schools were like the ones we attended back in the day, we'd be in Ghana already
There are some good ones, but very expensive in my opinion.
"Here, the short bread is banku" 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀.
Lol. Thanks for watching!
Yeah reall experirence ..hahahahaaaaa
very noisy school hope you kids can stand it
She was in the public school for a day and later changed to a private school.
Never mind my princess has your Dad say if you grow up in my mother land Ghana 🇬🇭 especially in village,, everyone gonna call you obroni 😂😂😂😂 but never mind. But thy still love you ok
Thank you! She’s very fine now. She has adapted very well and loves her new school and friends.
The word "OBRONI" HAS BEEN BASTARDISED TO MEAN "WHITE PERSON" but that is not the true meaning of the word. OBRONI simply means someone from the horizon or a FOREIGNER. That is why we say OBRONI KOKOO or OBRONI TUNTUM. Your kids should be encouraged when they get to know the true meaning of the word. Peace and Light 🙏
Thank you!
👏👏👏👏👏🌴👏👏👏
Thanks a lot!
am currently working at London,i hope to join you guys very soon
Please what the name of the school your children been going now
Thanks for watching, Ernest! Glad to hear of your plans to relocate as well. Kindly send me an email so that we can have a chat please: email@familybynature.family
Hahahahahaaaa, its good they exprience tonkon toilet.Bromomomo
Lol
May I know what informed your decision to relocate to Ghana?
My soul yearned to come back home after 33 years:) Here’s a video I spoke about the reasons before we moved please: ruclips.net/video/JnMiY7ABXSg/видео.html
Ahhh you are from U.K? I thoght Germany.
We’ve lived in both Germany and the UK. We moved to the UK in 2008 till we moved to Ghana this year. The last two kids were born in the UK.
It's normal my dear😄 Obroni
Hope they don't tell them to trim their hair 🤣
Efya I’m laughing with the hair lol. I saw all the girls have their hair cut, but they were not asked to cut their hair ( Was not even thinking of cutting their hair lol) I think it’s not fair on the Ghanaian kids though. With the private schools the girls don’t cut their hair. I personally think it’s outdated.
Oh Ghana. every light skin person is obroni. The teacher should put a stop to it, by letting them know she has a name, not obroni. Poor girl, one can imagine how overwelming it is for her with all coming shouting that word obroni. My goodness, how Alicia looks like my second dauther. this is crazy.
Alicia has to meet your daughter:) That would be lovely! Yeah she was confused. The attention she got was overwhelming for her. Yes the headmistress was very sorry about that and addressed it at the morning assembly. She was in a meeting outside the school that day. She was even surprised herself lol. It was as if a missionary had come to the school lol.
Obroni is NOT a negative word, please don't get offended my little baby girl.
Definitely not. Thank you! It’s the sheer number of kids following her throughout the day especially during break and even after school that made her feel uncomfortable. As some were saying Obroni and laughing she felt overwhelmed and uncomfortable.
What does it mean?
What is the name of the school
Owass Primary
Hahahahahaa
I don't know what the idea is but please why you want to subject your lovely kids to this? Just curious. I live in the US but I can't imagine myself doing this. If anything at all I'll send them to American school in Ghana.
Thanks for watching and I appreciate your question. The idea was to let the kids have a local experience being around local kids and learning the local language. Their cousins were already in the school and I took them there to experience it and they wanted to be there. If they go to an American or British private school with mainly foreign kids it kinda defeat the purpose of bring big them from the UK to Ghana. Moreover those American schools in Ghana charge American dollars. And not just a few lol. That was definitely not the route we wanted to go. We might as well kept them in the UK. They currently attend a private local school just a walking distance from our house and they love it.
@@FamilyByNature Oh okay. Good luck. Btw, they're lovely. Do you think the quality of education is worth it? Just asking.
@@samashify2 thank you! Yes the quality is good. As a private school the class size is smaller as compared to public schools. They have good ICT rooms with laptops which is important in today’s digital age. As the founder of the school is a Ghanaian-based American they run a mix of Ghanaian and American curriculum.
I must say that you and your wife you rised your children in the best ways yet they grew up in USA, didn't massup your children
Thank you!
