The quality of this review is just insane
Couldn't agree more
This is the maddest detail review I have seen. It literally went into the gadget's intestines! Nice job.
he even measured the shity noise ... haha
This is the most thorough review I have seen of any product anywhere. Thanks! You should get a job doing reviews.
Thanks. Check some of my other videos. I use the same approach for pretty much any guitar related equipment
One of the most comprehensive, logical, and well presented reviews I have ever watched for pro audio equipment!
Yes
Best review of anything I’ve ever seen
Fantastic review. I will check out your other reviews. I wish all reviewers went into this much detail. You covered every question I had about the U2 and some that I didn't have but, glad you tested for. Thank you!
Underrated channel. Your contents are awesome. You deserve more subs
Thanks! Well, I'm working on that
I've searching for around 30 mins for a review like this. Thanks!
Mate, that was the best review I have ever seen.
You are so thorough!
Easy to follow with everything needed to know. I'm impressed!!
Well done..
This is just a perfect way to review a product and the contents on the info is the best, thank you!
Excellent. Very well described. You've showed more good example than any other sites I checked.
This is really an excellent review. If you want to avoid conflicts with your WiFi consider using the 4 and 5 settings on both the transmitter and receiver. Most WiFi frequencies and other device frequencies are going to fall into the #1 settings by default. I think the 4 and 5 settings and eliminate or minimize the the risk. It's worth considering and I hope this helps. Thank you so very much for your review.
Wow, that was really helpful. Propably the best Review
I ever saw. Keep up the good work.
Seriously cool in-depth review!
This is the most thorough review I've ever saw!
Awesome review! Thanks a lot! You've did more than I could even imagine!
Top review!! I’m now “in love” with the G70
Great comparison review. I love my X-Vive.
I just bought this unit and its great..thanx for the review, big help for me understanding all the logics…
Thanks for all your effort on this video. This was extremely informative.
Excellent in-depth review of this guitar wireless system. I was thinking of ordering the Xvive U2, but your review talked be out of it. I like the simplicity of the design, but going thru the unit in such great detail really helped me make my decision. Thanks for your hard work.
Excellent review, thank you so much sir, a role model for comprehensive reviews!
the best review of any product in the world!
I'm impressed. A very professional review! Great job :)
What an outstandingly thorough review! I swear this is the best review I might have ever seen in my life xD - you earned this sub!
What an amazing, and thorough review. Thanks for the details. Music rules this life.
Max thank you very much for all your very professional work, I found, more than I expected. To analyze and information for each step.
I love this. Great job. I'm trying to find the least amount of latency possible and this review really helped.
Excellent review/analysis... thank you!
Thank you for an excellent thorough review! I plan to mod my transmitter to a TRS plug...so I can use it on a stereo to mono wireless.
I just purchased 2 of these devices. Thanks to your wonderful review, I have a better idea of which instruments to use them with. The depth of testing and insight was well above and beyond any reviews that I've seen anywhere. Thanks so much.
I don't suppose you ever tried running two at the same time? Example, one wireless from guitar to multi-effects unit or pedal board, second from the above to an amp.
Awesome job brother. Thank you for your extremely comprehensive review..:)
A PERFECT review with great detail clearly explained; I subbed man. Thank you for sharing this!
Much appreciated!
Another great review! I am now using Lekato 5.8 ghz wireless that I found on Amazon at the best price. Works very well at about a third the price of these. Also, right now getting just over 5 hours on a charge, although the receiver lasts a bit longer as expected. Sound quality with no noticeable degradation, no dropouts or interference, and build quality is good. Keep up the good work!
dude - AWESOME review - You've put in more work on an in-depth level than some people put into their whole lives :) seriously thought - really appreciate this OVER THE TOP research -
Haha, thanks :) I really appreciate that!
awesome! this is the best review that I have ever seen...!
You sir, deserve millions of likes. Outstanding review.
Excellent review. Thank you !
One of the best comprehensive review I ever seen. It’ll be better if you tested with the acoustic guitar also.
Sehr ausführlicher und großartiger Test. Thx
The only people who have this level if info are the desingers. Thanks so much!
Absolutely Excellent Review ... Hi, from Ireland :-)
I am amazed!
Not about the device, but your high detailed review. You not just read stuff and telling us. You proved it.
Awesome
I appreciate that!
Outstanding review!
Generally the best review ever . Thanks a lot
Dude, this review is amazing. 🤘
Fantastic review!
Thanks. Quite technical. Just bought my Xvive U2. I believe I won’t be disappointed.
How is it going so far?
@@Jeff4014 ,
It’s going for $ 154, in US, Guitar Center. I bought a pair. Fantastic. All the freedom to move around the stage without worrying about cable. Quality, high.
The best review I ever seen.
Thanks so much. Really put things in perspective for me. Very logical
Great work. I really enjoyed that!
Very in depth review... just bought one!
Not all "professionals" play in large, venues, stadiums or auditoriums. I play very small venues, thus am not concerned too much about latency, nor LOS connectivity. I do, however, delight in the potential to be almost totally wireless with the versatility of two Xvive U2 (Dual) units combined with an Xvive U3 wireless mic system. While I have not yet tried it, I intend to adapt a U2 system to transmit my backing tracks to my amp, along with any three of my instruments, such as guitar, mandolin or keyboard. Most current power packs for wireless instruments are cumbersome and difficult to position anywhere without some kind of motion interference. This combination will allow me to only need a single power cord, which will be used to power my amplifier. Thank you for such a thorough and comprehensible review of what I deem to be a cutting edge tool for musicians.
extremely well done!
Fantastic review.
Great review. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Hands down best review on RUclips and I watched a bunch today. Thanks for the video truly. Have you done any with the NUX B2?
Génial. Ca c'est une analyse. Thank from Belgium.
Awesome review!
This is the most thorough review of wireless guitar systems that I've come across on RUclips.
That said, I bought & have these direct from China A-8 transmitter/receiver that operate on 730 Mhz UHF signals. The upside to that is they don't use the 2.4/5 Ghz frequency that a cable modem/router broadcasts with, even the wireless handset telephone systems or anything else that is a2.4 Ghz frequency. The A-8's were $ 22 delivered thru an Amazon purchase. A friend has the XVIVE U2's and his are dead silent. That's a luck of the draw, hit & miss with even the XVIVE U2's from this test. Reviewer gets about 15 dB of noise and that's a whisper level of noise if you research noise dB levels online, but not annoying enough just the same & not dead silent like my friend's U2's. That said, even these XVIVE U2's are far quieter than the A-8's. The A-8's I have are noisy af. You can play with the gain and set that low at 1-2 with overdrive and live with these for practice sessions at max volume, but it's not neary loud enough cleaner to gig with. On clean without overdrive, then you have to set the volume where the noise isn't going to be annoyingly overwhelming for the A-8's as well and that's around a volume setting of 2-3 on the amp itself. I'm using the A-8's on a PYLE PVAMP 60W amp and it's a noisy amp instrument corded compared to the brand names that pretty much every Music store sells. But we tested the A-8's on a VOX & Yamaha practice level amps and it made no difference in the noise and even the guitars used. The A-8's will do everything and even be noisier with max volume. Perhaps you could gig with the A-8's and drive enough music to overwhelm the noise the A-8's make, but it's still going to be unwanted/undesirable distortion. So the A-8's are a low volume output, low gain alternative to cables for practice purposes only. I was hoping to see in the dismantling of the U2's that there would be some screwdriver type adjustment that one could phase the transmitter and receiver to eliminate that noise, but I didn't see one from the video review and I don't want to dismantle the A-8's and destroy them for a $ 22 bet that may or may not work. For now the A-8's work, just not as silently as my expectations are/were for them.
And when I read reviews of the A-8's, even the U2's there are enough complaints in the negative & lower rated reviews for noisy wireless guitar systems. So that tells me it was hit & miss for noise vs silent products. Oh well, my hope was to be wireless primarily, use the instrument cord as a backup. Instead the instrument cord is the best quality and the wireless is a practice only & in a pinch for gigging alternative.
Expertly done review. And no marketing bullshit. Great!
Great, very thorough review. Many thanks.
But as Jan Koppe pointed out in his comment below, and as many other reviews, comments and videos I have read and watched say, the U2 Xvive seem to be the most problematic of the wireless guitar units because they cut out, and are susceptible to interference when there are others around. At the moment, because I am not willing to spend more than about US $350, I am going to try the Boss WL-20, which reviews say is not prone to the same kinds of problems that the Xvive is.
Excellent Review!
Excellent review!
Awesome professional review! I own the Xvive system and they are not as good as the Shure GLXD system but at a cheaper price point it is not bad.
Wow, what a review. Stumbled upon this video on accident but have to give you a subscription even though I can only play the intro power chords to Rock U Like Hurricane. Hahaha!!!! Subscribed.
Hey, thanks!
It's fantastic man. Just blowing my mind with the quality of the review.
You should have a lot more subscribers.
This Xvive U2 was recommended to me by Thomman in an email asking, but with that latency and noise it's out of the question for me.
Do you know anything about the Mooer GTRS GWU4? Those
Great info. I',m taking mines back and getting a better one because of the cut out when used with other wifi devices. Thank you..
Amazing review! Спасибо )))
Excellent review. Thank you.
Thanks for watching!
Great review- they are good for noodling around. Noise gate suggested, as is normal, on the pedal board. 👍
Yeah, with high gain a gate is good to have!
Great review. I'd love to see you do a similar review of the new Boss wireless system.
Thanks!
You address the one thing that no other reviewer does. The noise this wireless system makes is absolutely grating. I've tried everything I could think of to cut down on it, but to no avail. Barring a noise gate, I don't think there's anything else I can do to help with that.
Best review that I seen
ur review its amazing
Awesome review
Thanks!
вот это разбор! 1000% как после такого смотреть другие?))) теперь очевиден запрос таких разборов на все беспроводные новинки!
Superb review, just the facts, not inane opinion, thanks very much.
Excellent review! Subscribing!
Wow !Amazing. Thank you.
now this is a review!
Excellent review, thank you. I have been using the Xvive U2 system for a little over a year now (over 100 gigs). I wish I could say that I have never had dropouts, but that wouldn't be true. The amount of dropouts are very small and when taking the initial cost of the device into account, I think they are insignificant. Your review has clarified a lot of points for me. Thank you again.
Good job !
OK, so I bought one. Used it 6 or 7 times and it operated flawlessly. The 8th time there was a small glitch and I ignored it. The 9th time it completely cut out from about 30 feet away. After that it just sputtered if I moved a foot. Wow, talk about embarrassment on the bandstand but after some testing I learned a valuable lesson. Always make sure your battery is charged before a performance.
Oh good, I was getting worried, reading this - until the end. I just bought a pair yesterday, you see!
Btw.. have you noticed the highs are a bit brittle, and harsh? I'm finding I need to roll my tone knob back - and that goes for my LP aswell as my Strat...and PRS, for that matter. I pretty have never used my tone knobs until now!
Other than that, how do you find the overall sound quality?
It f**king defeats the purpose to plug in your wireless system to charge it while using it!. Then, you might aswell use a lead - doi!!!
I just can say WOW and more WOOOOOOW. Amazing review with real numbers not just a SUBJECTIVE OPINION. I appreciate the review planning explaining in the intro what would be covered, comparison with other devices, the marks on the floor when you did the range test. I was surprised with the level of noise, personally I think I could live with those 5 ms but not sure about the noise. Question: What device would you recommend in that price range? Thanks you Sir, greetings from Switzerland.
Hey. U2 actually performs quite well as long as you don't go for a very high gain sound. I used it with my active bass during live performances. So far so good. Speaking of other brands and devices, Line6 is good but more expensive. Shure has a good wireless system but also more expensive. I'm looking forward to check the one from Harley Benton, it looks promising
Very good explanation...I was thinking to buy one of those ...it help me a lot....just one thing = you forgot to try it with an electro acoustic guitar ( wooden guitar )...but I guess it works too.
Great vdo!
thanks, great review. Appreciate it. What's your opinion on the Shure GLDX system
Thanks! It looks solid. I never had a chance to try it though
EXCELLENT!!!
Incredible work once more! Would love it if you could do a latency shootout between the G70 and the Shure GLXD16
Thanks! Yeah, that should be easy. Anyone here has contact to Shure?
Max Solo Music - Thanks. I have seen people on the internet swear by the Shure GLXD 16 as one of the most reliable wireless systems out there but the latency of the G70 seems so much lesser than any other wireless system on the market. I use a lot of pitch shifting effects and drop tune pedals and those by itself introduce quite a lot of latency . For people like me the wireless latency has to be an absolute minimal thing to compensate for that.
yep, the lower the better :) I've never tried GLXD 16. But it doesn't use standard AA or AAA batteries. So, no professional use by any means
I'd be curious if you do a review of the Sennheiser XWS-D instrument set which is the "professionnal" equivalent of this "bug" type 2.4Ghz wireless :) Amazing in depth review !
Nice job
Fantastic.
Hey man awesome video, do you have any idea where we can purchase the battery for the Xvive U2 unite once the one it comes with stops recharging permanently? I believe its a 3.7v 650mah 2.4wh, only thing is its super hard to find the right size. Hope you can help man, thanks in advance!
Great!!
Great job....just bought this product...not sure if this was the best buy for my usage
Nice video
thank you very much! Greetings from Hungary :))) r'n'r
Gr8 review 👍helped me out loads
Nice!
23:12 Guitar Bandolier. Brilliant.
There literally isn't a better review on the internet.
