May Allah guide you, brothers. I was a Christian until I converted to Islam. I truly believe that Allah guides anyone who looks for Him while being open to following guidance wherever it might be. It's important also to not simply take the religion that one was raised in because we will all be held accountable for not looking for the truth. One of the things that surprised me about the Quran was something that you mentioned: that the stories in the Quran do not follow the narrative style that you see in the Bible. The Quran mentions pieces of different stories according to theme or lesson.

Im born muslim but this world forgot us that we have so true book by lord to live right n peaceful life just for some years and pass the test by stop ourself to involve this tense world and always think about our lord so if he will happy by us he will give us forever life in the forever place which we think to live happily hereafter he promised in Quran book which never say lie.
