  • Could we end up going beyond Civil War in the US? Could we see World War 3, centered around violent attacks in the US? After a great deal of research and analysis, I say YES, we could see a world war started by an enemy nation using an army that is ALREADY HERE!

    If you think of our nation as a body, it is generally perfectly healthy...but there are cancer cells. And the smallest cancer cell in an otherwise healthy body is fatal. LA, Chicago, NYC, SF, and other cancerous cells will kill us unless we diagnose the cancer early and treat it aggresively to eradicate the cancer. And we have waited too long already. It is metastasizing at an alarming rate. I fear we are too late to save the patient.

    I read a commentary by a general in the early 90s, stating that the recreational use of firearms for hunting and shooting for fun has been the backbone of the American infantry. As people have shot less in modern times, fewer naturally good shots have been available to the military.
    In my family, two generations have been shooters. But the better military man was my grandfather, who attributed some of his survival in the Pacific Theater of WWII to the time he spent shooting and hunting.
    I hunt less than my grandfather, but enjoy shooting to understand why I hit or miss when I plink, something he passed on. I guess that's like golf, but really--in hunting or plinking, you're walking or getting in different firing positions and trying to hit random challenging targets. You're still working basic marksmanship skills.
    I hope we don't come to war, because that will end the pleasant life we've all had access to. My grandfather was so disgusted by his war that he left most of his military gear under a bus terminal seat at the end of WWII; he found no glory in surviving when others died and didn't keep a lot of war souvenirs.
    I want you to be wrong, but you make a case.

I am a little hyper focused for sure because I have always been tuned into defense - even as a very young boy, I was drawn to guns, combat and being prepared. To me, its a man's responsibility to his family to be prepared at all times to protect and provide a safe haven for his family. Very hard when they move all over the country... I am fortunate right now that two of my three kids are here in Texas for me. Love Red Dawn = yes, hokey but well done for the time period. Made people think....

    43:35 OH BOY this is gonna be a long comment but a good one. My father was assigned to one of two of the first squadrons assigned to Chu Lai (VMA-311) when it "opened for business" in May of 1965. He had previously been assigned to Udorn,Thailand with VMA 332 in 1962. At some point, I don't know when exactly, he had tried to pull a 1911 from the armory. Well they told him to buzz off because "medical personnel" couldn't be armed due to the Geneva Convetion (like the VC cared about that!!!! His words "those S0Bs would shoot you as soon as they would look at you). Undeterred, he went to the Post Exchange probably with the hope of getting a shotgun -- you know, for duck hunting 😁. The only thing they had was a Ruger Blackhawk in .357. Ok well good thing he got it because in October 28th to 30th VC sappers attacked the Marine bases at Chu Lai and Marble Mountain!! About 20 Vietnamese infiltrated the flight line at Chu Lai and threw satchel charges into the tail pipes of the parked Skyhawks destroying two and damaging six more of VMA-311’s aircraft. Fortunately, several charges failed to detonate. Aviation fuel was leaking from aircraft that had been riddled with machine gun fire and armorers braved bullets and flames to unload ordnance from the aircraft to reduce the danger of further damage. So yeah that was a literal war zone and that flight line was not secured, despite it being a Marine Air Base. And yes that particular Blackhawk was fired in anger and a relative still has it along with the picture of the dead VC crumpled over and my father pointing to the exit wound and posing with both the Blackhawk and the VC's SKS (dad was also REALLY into photography 🙂)

      I was told in the Navy that corpsmen/medics, chaplains, and other noncombatants in a combat zone were, by the Geneva Convention, allowed one loaded handgun and two reloads. This handgun for combat zone medical personnel would only be used to protect yourself from the enemy trying to harm you, or to protect your enemy patient should someone on your own side who might wish to harm your patient. Of course, we learned very quickly that if we were assigned field duty with the Marines, we would be lugging not only our medical gear, but extra ammo and weaponry because few people in the world we fight nowadays seem to care about the Geneva Convention, and many adversaries would deliberately target field medical personnel. And, to make matters worse, if we were captured with anything other than the allowed M1911-A1 or M9, we would lose our Geneva Convention protections.

    The Chinese navy is not up to the task of a deep water assault. They can’t go further than 1000 miles. Taiwan is possible but would be very costly for them. They’re not doing squat to our mainland with their navy. We’re much more likely to start killing each other with a little push from bad actors here in the country. Our electrical grid is major at risk. No electricity, no food, major die off. When? Within the next 5-10 years China is looking at a collapse because they’ve been propping up their system 3-4 times more than we have. And just like they spread the pain around with Covid (rather than shutting it down at their borders), if they start to collapse then they’ll take us with them by activating sleepers. Is that crazy? I hope so. I hope I’m dead wrong and over thinking it, but doesn’t it just feel like some fuse has been lit? Evil really does lurk around us now.

    There will be those who think this is paranoia at its peak, but those same people might wake up one morning and wonder why the power is out. As to the Chicoms crossing the border by running into ports with cars waiting to take them away quickly, they might be mid to senior level leaders, but they may also be technicians with special schooling such as how to take out a power substation or cause other disruptions which require some knowledge of how to disable devices. It may be nothing, but then it may be a supersized Hamas style attack only they don't need the hang gliders-they're already over the fence. I'm not intensely paranoid but I leave my home armed every time and I pay attention to my surroundings. This is no time to be in condition White.

    Once again, Dick, I appreciate your videos. As an individual who retired as a senior officer and then remained closely affiliated with the military as a Lockheed Martin Director - a total of 43 years - I’d respectfully suggest that your thesis is conceivable, but the military targets you’ve indicated are not too plausible. Now, this does NOT mean that our bases and facilities in ConUS are any more hardened than you suggested. Rather, however, why wouldn’t the ChiComs, or Soviet Union II, or rouge states such as Iran and the DPRK, or Islamic jihadists, or a combination of these clandestinely and already in-place enemies go after our crucial, underpinning, extensive and pervasive - and even less protected - infrastructure?
    Wouldn’t that have far greater adverse effects and also be far less risky for the adversaries? For example, imagine if our Interstate highway system and rail lines had several key bridges and/or tunnels destroyed, if mass urban transportation / subways were unusable, if cellular, broadcast, phone and internet services were largely disrupted for a week or ten days, if potable water, natural gas, electrical power and sewage utilities were disabled in a few major cities, if major medical centers were inoperative due to the placement of biological hazards (e.g., anthrax), if warehouses and wholesale storage for important everyday supplies (food, pharmaceuticals, fuel, hell even toilet paper a la our early-Covid days, etc.) were burned down, if telecommunications were interrupted for a period of weeks, and so forth. Wouldn’t that spread great chaos and panic throughout our population - PLUS disable / impede our military forces and first responders - much more effectively than gaining access to armories at Fort Lewis, destroying some aircraft at Langley AFB, seizing the Norfolk Naval Station’s headquarters and logistical hubs, and similar actions? Moreover, I’d suggest attacks - cyber and physical - on our infrastructure would also be appreciably less risky to our enemies . . . specifically, fifty or a hundred major ConUs military installation are MUCH more easily and effectively defended than are the many tens-of-thousands of “infrastructure targets” outlined above.

    • @lockloadwithdickfairburn-cr1jb
      @lockloadwithdickfairburn-cr1jb  3 месяца назад +4

      Infrastructure attacks are all you say they are, easier and very disruptive. My thesis in this was for China to attack/conquer our country be means of a pre-invaded army. That would necessitate severely weakening our ability to respond militarily. And, they would like to have as much infrastructure as possible remain intact in their newly conquered "province."
      Since some of the base incursions clearly involve Islamic terrorists, there are either parallel plots underway or some level of even more diabolical cooperative efforts. I learned in organized criminal investigations that it is all too tempting to assume such folks are more capable than they really are, so I doubt the Islamists and ChiComs are in cahoots, but who knows.

    • @roykiefer7713
      @roykiefer7713 3 месяца назад +2

      Good reply, sir. However, I have a major issue with your “surreptitious PLA illegal immigrant attacking military bases” thesis. Specifically sustained logistical support, which is absolutely critical to large scale war fighting. To illustrate my point, our incredibly fast and incredibly total victory in World War II was resulted from the confluence of the “greatest generation’s” courage and sacrifices, a justifiably enraged and motivated America, AND peerless INDUSTRIAL-AGRICULTURAL-LOGISTICS.
      Simply for the sake of this discussion, let’s assume these clandestine PLA forces attacked several major ConUs military instillations, disabling many key systems and destroying weapons, demolishing some important facilities and supply points, and tragically killing many of our younger comrades-in-arms. Then what, how would they continue this war on our soil, how would they be sustained for the long haul, and wouldn’t they be especially vulnerable to counterattack with no enduring logistics support to sustain them and in precisely identified locations?
      On the other hand, after potential infrastructure attacks, these PLA guerrillas could seamlessly re-assimilate into their American communities . . . thus, highly disruptive and destructive actions, with comparatively quite low risks. For example, at 0300 on day X, a two dozen PLA insurgents place 25 C-4 explosives at key venues throughout Chicago’s subways system, they detonate at 0430, but by that time these ChiCom terrorists-warriors have returned to their hiding places in Chicagoland. Mao clearly lauded this very approach, indicating: “The guerrilla must move amongst the people as a fish swims in the sea.”
      I’d respectfully suggest these infrastructures-terrorist PLA troops would be MUCH more difficult to detect, identify and annihilate, than would be several hundred ChiComs who have temporarily seized portions of Wright-Patterson AFB or the Naval Station Mayport.

    Great video! An area (a region) of todays Russia is still called Chechnya, officially Chechen Republic. RUSSIA had to subdue any thaught of establishing an independent and sovreign Chechnya. Part of that was disarmeing the Chechian population. The Russian soldiers came to the Chechians homes, got the men/man (of the home) to come outside the home, and then shot them dead. Then they made the women crawl on their elbows and knees out of the home. They survived if the soldiers were able to get them into secure custody, but needless to say, obeying the soldiers orders takes a level of levelheadedness and physical capability, and it takes time. Bored russian soldiers might just have shot the mothers and grandmothers to speed things up, for practical reasons. And remember, all this was done while the children of the home looked on, screaming in terror, watching, possibly one or more grandparent and/or one or both parents get executed outside their home. The year I turned 41, I got a letter from the military, relieveing me of any and all responcibilities to the Military and The Nation. Here is the point I'm makeing. If you will be the target of the armed forces that inevetably is comeing to your door. You will only survive if you open the door. They will tear your home apart. At precent, I do not have any type of firearms or any kind of tactical equipment, neither at my home or any sort of storage or depot or hideout. Why? Because when I don't, they can torture me as much as they want. I do not have any tools to resist. Their mistake will of course be letting me live. Maybe they even let me go. If I am alive, I can resist. Just think things through. Do your own assesment. Not one plan suits all. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

    Dick you are doing us a great service with these three videos. People need to understand their enjoyment of guns, whether as toys or tools, is necessarily intertwined with and dependent on politics including the cultural and political climate we are facing that want to render us defenseless. I sincerely thank you for bringing this message to as many as possible. I enjoy guns too, just like anyother, but our enjoyment doesn't happen in a vacuum.

    Mr. Fairburn, I could not agree with you more. I spent a couple of months in the UK at the end of 2023 for a graduate program, and I quickly realized how widespread these issues are. The UK is completely overrun, and after October 7th, it wasn't even safe to be out in broad daylight. One day, while walking back with groceries a mob of pro-Hamas suddenly formed, easily a thousand people crammed into the main street, screaming at me that they were going to kill all Jews. Without the ability to carry firearms or even a simple knife, I quickly left the program and headed back to the Show-Me state to be near family and loved ones.
    I've been watching these events unfold for a while, and this is absolutely a plan to completely eradicate our way of life. I never had much of a firearm collection sadly, more of a toy or hunting variety, but I have been slowly building it more into a tool-based system. I just picked up my Daniel Defense the other week, and I'm stockpiling food, ammo, and water at the moment. I know a couple others that are doing the same, and far too many that aren't. If I may request a future video series that I'd love for you to make, but a rundown of other gear besides firearms, magazines, and ammo. I'm talking about supplies to survive environments. You and I both know these Midwest winters can be brutal, and I'd love to hear your perspectives on how to survive for an extended point when the main infrastructure is gone, and we are back to a community base. Also, if you have advice on networking with fellow like-minded citizens, I'm sure we would all enjoy that as well. Thank you for the videos you make, they are extremely helpful and insightful.

    Oh, man! This one was depressing. I've thought of a lot of these scenarios, hoping that they wouldn't happen. But Dick makes a compelling argument for his overall view of what might happen. The sad thing is, for those of us connecting the dots, it's fairly obvious for us to see it happening right in front of our eyes.

    I subscribed because of the series..... The Art of War by Sun Tzu stated that would overwhelm Russia by pushing China's people across the border overwhelming the process and at one point or another in a signal as they attacked the people would rise up in Russia.... that is exactly what's happening right now a great deal of Chinese illegal immigrants are right here in the, country..... couple that with the abnormal amount of people from Islamic countries and radicals from around the world and garbage from Venezuela we have the perfect situation to substantially cripple us from within allowing other nations states to take advantage of it... great content keep up the good work

    Mr. Fairburn don't change a thing. No b.s. talk from the ones who have "been there & done that" is much needed. I agree, I hope you wind up being wrong but there's too much evidence you're not. I also agree that toys are fine as long as you have tools too. Most of my toys load from the front & make big holes & big smoke clouds. I truly enjoy them. I may not have any particular love for my tools but I make it a point to stay proficient with them. Thanks for your perspective.

    It can never happen to me syndrome always seems to trump the be prepared mindset until catastrophe happens. That being said, I remember my Ft. Bragg days back in 74-78. The barracks housed the single soldiers and NCO's including our armorer. The armory was on the first floor across the hall from the commander's office where the flimsy key box containing the key to the armory resided. Assuming enemy forces gained control of the fort's external gates and began to capture the fort's infrastructure, resident forces could quickly muster, arm, and destroy these invaders.
