    I have learned that it is common to end up in a narcissistic relationship if you have been raised by a narcissist. My heart goes out to you. After all you have endured, and now you have to deal with this from your own mother?! I really think you are a genuinely good person and you have helped so many people going through the same thing. I said a prayer for you! Whatever we have to face outside of the toxic relationship is much better than remaining in the toxic relationship!

      That was the most difficult part for me as well... It's amazing how "in an instant" they can discard and treat you like you never even existed. That REALLY messed with my head for a LONG time. I hope you are doing better now demi!

    @DaviesMartinezBeats 8 месяцев назад +3

    It's all your fault Duane, for being the Narc's BEST source of supply... We both know this will not end for either of us (I'm in court battle number ten myself) soon... Hang in there Brother and I have my fingers crossed for you in your upcoming legal dispute(s)...

    • @DSD
      @DSD  8 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah, I was just thinking about that. My brother broke ties decades ago - well when he was a teenager - but I stuck around and I'm not paying the price (literally). I think it will work out okay. Hope it does for you too man!

      @DaviesMartinezBeats 8 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you Brother and I hope all works out for you as well. FYI: I learned to do 90% of my own back-end court legal work which helped me, and could help you immensely...@@DSD

      @DSD  8 месяцев назад +1

      @@DaviesMartinezBeats yeah, I've been doing more RUclips University and "phoning a friend" to figure out how to do this crap myself. My first demurrer I submitted was rejected because it was "formatted wrong". Stressful but interesting at the same time.

    • @DaviesMartinezBeats
      @DaviesMartinezBeats 8 месяцев назад

      If I did 90% of my own legal work (in particular filing of documents) you can as well. If you are asking for court orders (not really relevant as I follow your channel and know your kid's ages) I would (myself) write them myself, and get a lawyer to read them and make amendments where required before filing... @@DSD

    @DSD How was your holiday? what did you do? I hope you had a great holiday week

    • @DSD
      @DSD  8 месяцев назад +3

      It was relatively mellow - I did get sick last week so that wasn't too much fun but for the most part it was "low key". Debby and I hung out for Christmas and watched some movies. Like I said after Monday I was basically sleeping/recoverying (well and playing Lego Fornite LOL). Hope you had a great holiday!

    @ Did you have narcissistic siblings or inlaws in your ex's family?

    • @DSD
      @DSD  8 месяцев назад +1

      Hmm, I could have sworn I just answered a question like that a few days ago. Yes there were definitely some issues with the ex's family. I think her father was pretty stable and I really liked him - and was really sad when he passed away. The reality though is people with our experiences tend to have toxic people in our families and the families of our ex's.

    Their is no good advice when dealing with a psychopath. You basically get a effing for the effing you got. True evil uses "good people" to abuse.

    • @DSD
      @DSD  8 месяцев назад +1

      So true... Your best bet is to break free and get as far away as you can as possible. Unfortunately though we do tend to have to always keep our guard up.

    • @DSD

      Typically you have narc and a co-dependent - most of the time 2 narcs clash too much... Well, okay yes I have witnessed it and it was/is a train wreck...

      If they can use a shared illusion to each get supply they can go on for years. The one on the higher end of the spectrum will dominate (usually a covert and/or psychopath) but they will both abuse the other family members to get supply.
