nice! off topic, but i just came back home from visiting the b&o museum, i got chills and goosebumps getting to be clost to all the old steamers and older diesels...what sights i tell ya!
Recently got a comment on my Vanishing Caboose video where someone said this is the reason cabooses should've been kept-at least for switching operations and car jockeying! Comment went on to say how brakemen now support themselves by holding grab irons which can be dangerous. You probably saw it if you went to the vid page. I wrote back saying how economy is more important than safety. Cabooses make great buffer cars, and I think a handful of them should've been preserved just for that purpose. Now they're winding up as static displays-saw a Conrail caboose parked by the Ma & Pa station in Red Lion that wasn't there on my last visit. A red Ma & Pa bobber would've been more appropriate!
I subscribed to your channel due to the fabulous variety in each clip....trains, graffitti, MOW, planes, you name it. This one didn't disappoint.

CSX in Starke Fl has a caboose just like this but in better shape. They use it on occasion.
Awesome! Vid like that caboose!
where is that crossing at and where is this caboose usually? I'd like to film it
No No No, ....remember CSX now calls them shoving platforms, LOL!
on some "shoving platform cars" the doors are welded shut. can't go in and sleep.
