This is one of those songs you just have to listen to with your earphones late at night when everything is so quiet. The vintage style is so clean making it feel like you are living a few decades ago
My favorite track by The Weekend. The instrumentals mixed the vocals just hit me in the right way. I can't explain (could be in the name too). it's not the most popular song of theirs. But it's like break-beat mixed with early 2000's trance all in one. This is my jam 100%. I play this on repeat!

this made me cry because its exactly how it was with my ex bestfriend/ex boyfriend. it was so toxic, he was toxic. and i was so attached to him, even after everything i would always go back to him and trust him, but everytime it would end the same way. (him betraying me, using me, lying to me, etc.) and even though he is out of my life now, sometimes i will remember the shit he did and caused and it all comes back, all the pain, anger, betrayel, etc. :((
This song remind me of my ex, he knows that I loved him so much but he keeps push and pull me every time he needs me, when he needs he'll come but him when he doesn't need me then just pushed me away. But now I know I deserved someone better, someone who can love me the way I loved him.

This album will always remind me of 2020: The craziness of that year, the pandemic, the last time I feel my friend group was truly all together, the girl I was with at the time, the joy and absolute soul crushing of that relationship as it built up and then fell apart. Everytime I hear this album, all those emotions of that year come back and I feel I'm teleported back to it. God I miss everyone, but that's life, we gotta move forward.
