    I tried it and I absolutely love it! Best thing on the market! I only used a dime size of the shampoo and on the first shampoo, it has massive lather. I think a lot of people don't know that when you use conditioner on Black natural hair, you have to section the hair, spray the section until it's almost soaking wet, then apply the conditioner. You'll only need a small amount and the slip will be like butter. It will detangle so easy. Just remember to spray one section at a time. This works with ANY conditioner. My hair loves Donna's Recipe!

    I believe the oil can have that hard type of texture. For instance Shea butter is actually an oil as well but the boiling point is set high so it’s a solid at room temp. Kind of like coconut oil at a cool temp- it turns hard but in the summer heat becomes oily.

      *AKA **_SATURATED_** fats. Good rule of thumb for people to understand the difference btwn Sat & **_UNsat_** fats- Saturated = SOLID at room temperature.*

      @@BL3SSed-Bliss SHEA MOISTURE CURLING GEL SOUFFLE" CHANGED. It use to be kinda loose like a liquid but not like water. I found their old formular in Texas and bought 6 jars in 2018 and still have them and I store them in my bathroom cabnet which is dark and cool. I mix it with their CURL ENHANCING SMOOTHIE (which I can't find anymore). The two work good together to wear the two strand twist, however the twist out is okay for a day or two. I've tried mixing the SMOOTIE with Aunt Jacket's GEL with 2 strand twisting my hair, the curl definition is great but I still get that stiff and dryness on my hair. after watching another video I think Iam using the wrong brand of leave in conditioner.

    I just bought the hair cream /crack yesterday from ULTA. I have 4c textured hair and dry. I did a preshampoo by putting the on my hair overnight. Then I washed it with regular shampoo. Then I put the hair cream on my hair with a shower cap for a bout 15 minutes, left it in an combed through my hair. OMG.. my curl pattern has never been this defined. I did a light comb through then lightly blew it dry and my hair was so soft and the curl pattern was perfect. LOVE this hair cream product for curl and moisture definition.

    I too was confused with the names on the products. However, I read that all 3 were needed (leave-in, scalp and hair oil, and the cream). Today I used shampoo, conditioner, leave-in and cream. I allowed my hair to air dry and my hair feels hard. Reading the instructions again suggest I use the scalp hair oil ALSO. So, what do I do on day 2, 3, 4, etc when you are all natural?

      The cream is meant to have a slight "hold" to it, it's a styling cream so as the days go on your hair will loosen up. If you feel like you need to refresh it then use a little curl refreshing spray and an oil sheen spray. Hope that helps!!

    Great video and review, but porosity measures density. Black folk have high porosity. Asian people have low porosity, and white folks have a mix. The understanding of porosity within the natural hair community is flawed. Their is a black hair scientist on here that explains just this, but also as a scientist myself, it bother’s me that we’ve got this all wrong.

    • @KLB1218
      @KLB1218 Год назад +5

      Interesting! And glad you mentioned this because there’s a lot of misconceptions in our community about porosity

    • @romontaehaynes6584
      @romontaehaynes6584 Год назад +31

      How does porosity measure density lol? If that’s the case what does porosity measure if not how much your hair retains water? I’m not being rude or anything I’m just curious!

    • @SashieETV
      @SashieETV  Год назад +21

      Thank you for the compliment 🤍. I def understand the relationship between porosity and density because mass and volume are directly proportional. I’m a little confused about the race part, though. I think it may be individual but care to elaborate if I’m incorrect.

    • @BklynBabe
      @BklynBabe Год назад +54

      Density is the amount of hair follicles per a surface area of scalp. Porosity is how open the cuticles are on a strand of hair, allowing water to pass in and out. Strand thickness is the diameter of the hair. All three are different, but the combination can define how a person's hair reacts to certain products. Black/African hair probably has the most variety of the three over other races. I personally have multitexture/curl type, multidensity, multithickness, and multiporosity.
      Also you may want to address your spelling and grammar, as well as provide correct information, as you say you are a scientist... There is even an edit button to fix the errors once you reread, in case autocorrect did you wrong 👍🏾

    • @sumlem
      @sumlem Год назад +22

      @@SashieETV also believe it's on a individual level because even different sections on a individual's head can retain water differently and can be affected by factors that are not genetic like weathering, heat, chemical treatments ECT. As a biology major who's worked in beauty, racial groups reveal trends for comparisons, but the key word is trends. Hair is polygenic, so multiple genes on a spectrum determine wave patterns on the head, density, texture, color. Hair porosity can vary greatly in one single generation. Because of this, I cannot agree that hair can be broadly categorized.
