Hey! Just saw some of your videos on Dollfie Dreams. I have a collection myself of a lot of different figures/dolls and it is my first time getting a Dollfie. No stranger to smart dolls though 😊 Expecting 2B soon! I saw your videos on staining. Should I be concerned about her outfit staining? I know she comes with the bodysuit and all but just wanted an opinion from someone else who owns her! I couldn't find her a stand either, I hope she'll be okay sitting down hopefully! (They seemed to be all sold out... or super jacked up on ebay...) Thank you! Hoping she can also still sit with those boots of hers on!
Hiya! After my 2B unboxing I put her in a different outfit (Ranko’s black lolita outfit) because I didn’t trust the original Volks 2B outfit not to stain. It didn’t cause immediate stains like in my nightmare video 🤣 but I’m not sure how safe it is if you plan to leave it on permanently. That said, I have had my Sheryl Nome in her original outfit since the day I got her. She does have a couple small marks but I don’t care because she lives in her display case so you can make a decision based on what you plan to do with your doll 😀 I wouldn’t sit her in her tall black boots because it will cause wrinkling that can’t be fixed, though I suppose you could just not bend the knees when she’s sitting. 🤔 Have you checked online places like CoolCat or Alice Collection for doll stands? Those are the ones folks like best after the Volks ones.

@@pocki9253 I have the Detolf cases from IKEA. The glass shelves can be removed to fit a SmD/ DD easily. I’ve seen some owners that have used 3rd party shelf adjuster to be able to position the glass in different spots (usually to fit more figures). The corner case I had custom made by a carpenter friend using some pieces of the IKEA Detolf case in order to maintain a uniform look 💙
@@archangeli Yess, I was looking into that as a possibility. However, some reviews were worrying me as they felt that the glass underneath the dolls was a bit flimsy and felt as if the weight would break it. Don't know if you've felt that way when displaying any of your dolls? Also was wondering when it comes to staining, is it possible to use a magic eraser on a Smart doll tea/cocoa doll? I have a little scuff mark on my Destiny doll and I didn't want to try using the magic eraser as I was worried it would take the paint off. The only staining videos I found pertained to very fair-skinned dollies. 😊
@@pocki9253 I don’t have more than 2 dolls on a glass shelf 🤔 but that’s more of a space issue than a weight isssue. Tea dolls you can use magic eraser and stain treat with acne cream the same way you would milk/cinnamon/ DD Flesh tones. I’ve done it on my tea SmD body with no issues. I don’t own a Cocoa doll but my spidey-sense is telling me ❌🚫🙅🏻♀️❗️ but I’m not sure if it’s because I’m thinking of the cortex dolls. I remember the cocoa cortex scuffed differently so you couldn’t use a magic eraser or sandpaper on them but I’m not sure if the vinyl cocoa dolls need special care the same way. 🤔

It’s a rotating display stand that I got on Amazon. They come in different sizes with different weight capacities.
