This looks amazing - I now have my dessert plan for visitors on Saturday. In the past I’ve used turmeric to colour a lemon dessert and it tasted fine, didn’t taste of turmeric. Maybe 1/4 teaspoon. 🙏
Why not refrigerate the whole thing overnight to firm it up so it doesn't crumble? The tofu should set up kind of like a cheesecake filling texture. They probably taste better cold, too. I'm going to try it that way.
@@KerriEverlasting I suggested to refrigerate the ENTIRE PRODUCT. The 'frosting' would set up like another layer. She only said to put it in the fridge to set the crust.
How do deserts fit in this heart healthy life style? I thought if the recipe was in these cook books they are fine. But I was told it is still a desert and should be only on treat days which is about once a month.

If you use 1/4 tsp turmeric you won’t be able to taste it! I’ve made lemon bars with turmeric and it came out great. I can’t wait to make this. ❤

Saffron is the stamens of Crocuses Btw, did you just drop a piece of that crust and pick it up and put it into the pan?!
