I dont know about you guys, but performance for me is more important than aesthetics, spend less money on rgb and aesthetic stuff and gou can build one with a 7900 xtx and a r9 7950x3d for $2200

I have benched 85 average fps (63 fps 1%low) with everything ultra/psycho + path tracing. 118 average fps with same settings but without path tracing. On a 2K monitor. With FSR 2.1 set to "Ultra performance", though, and with AMD Anti-Lag. Really did not expect it to do that well, honestly.
Was able to build almost an identical PC in black, with a 4080 gaming x trio / i7 13700k cooled by an NZXT Kraken Elite RGB, all in a NZXT h9 flow. Was able to build it for roughly $2100. Aesthetically, this build is cleaner tho.
Looking to get a very similar build with the Kraken Elite RGB too, has it been worth the extra money for the customisable screen on the elite or would you have gone back and gotten the non-elite instead for a cheaper price?
@@xGlup I was able to get a few things for a very competitive price so I didn’t mind spending a lil extra on the AIO. Since some CPU’s run hot I can justify the extra money for the cooling. As for the AIO screen and customization, I would highly recommend it. I didn’t have the budget to make my setup super appealing but with that screen going, it makes my whole build look soo much nicer.

@@MrSpicoli27 nah it’s just that 4K is quite a bit more taxing on the GPU than 1440p ultra wide. U won’t have to worry about turning down settings as quick at 1440p UW than 4k
Yup, just spec’d the same build out. 4080 and 4090 prices drove me to settle on the 7900 xtx - yeah, I can afford it, but why would I pay $2300 for a 4090 or $1600 for a 4080 (if I could even find them new)?! I’ll just wait and upgrade the GPU when new hardware comes out / things settle down.
No problem at all but aircooler could be more effective. I have the NZXT Kraken 280 AIO and the Temps are very handable. IF you need detailed Temps let me know

ryzen 7 7600x limits the card a lot bro, if you want to extract maximum performance I recommend choosing the ryzen 7 7800x3d. Then you will have greater performance since it is a powerful processor!

Imho No higher CPU performance over 7800x3d yet, in terms of gaming. For the Mobo there are 400-500 $ boards, but I can suggest Msi x670 tomahawk, which is pretty sick and not over priced.
only gaming? 7800x3d wins , has only 1 ccx. 7950x3d has 2 ccx, so both 3dv cache has o comunicate with both sides , resulting in more latency , and ofcorse less FPS tthan 7800x3d
@@Sultan-44 streaming will use the extra cores now and in the future. The 4090 will give you extra frames in some cases and the ray tracing is better, but it also cost a lot more. An upgrade would be the processor. Don't think the extra nvidia stuff is worth the extra. Also, in the future, you could upgrade the GPU.
Amd is not as bad as people may say but what is your budget? I currently have an all white 4090 build with a 7800x3d and 64 gigs of ddr5 corsair vengeance ram at 6,000 mhz. My build currently costs 4,200 and I have a few more things I want to add.

Im so pissed. I was trying to do all white in Canada this christmas and they ran out of stock of white RAM, PSU, and Motherboard. So I have a bit of a mix. But im thinking i will just custom paint them. Heard lots of folks have had luck with very carefully using automotive spraypaint. (Not for the motherboard obviously, but for the heatsinks on the mobo and the RAM, and the casing of the PSU if you fill in the grills first).
Hello! My Asrock phantom gaming 7900 xtx keeps making black screens every 30-60mins so hard i need to restart the entire pc. MY PSU is a MSI MPG A750G, maybe it's too weak. I wanna buy a new one could that solve the issue (I had the gpu swap once, and now again for "repair"/"replacement") I'M looking for MSI MPG A1000G / bequiet Pure Power 12M / Corsair RM1000e. The 7950X3D is only SLIGHTLY worse in most games and better in some AND its better for CPU intensive projects which is what I need so I know the 7800X3D is better for pure gaming, but I'm getting the 7950X3D

Idk how the glass panel did not shatter on him letting it drop to the table like that. Iv had 2 brand new glass panels completely shatter doing the same exact thing on my 4000d rgb airflow. Unless that one in particular has a metal frame protecting it corsair glass panels are the weakest most trouble some panels I have ever used. You have to handle it like your doing brain surgery to get it off and back on in one piece. Why I will never remove it again unless the whole pc is laid down since they are the weakest most non reliable case panels since the hooks slip as soon as you loosen the nuts or even think about to start pulling it off lol

What's your CPU? I have the 7700x with a 7900 XTX and stock I get an average 29000 GPU score while OC'ed I get an average of 31000. My CPU score hovers around 13000.
@@alsius9162 have you monitored power consumption and voltages? It may that either your card is rejecting more voltage in an effort to save itself from damage, or your motherboard or power supply can't supply enough. I suggest running an OCCT power test and using the built in monitor and Hardware Monitor at the same time to diagnose the issue.

I got the exact same cooler, PSU, GPU, and CPU and I just can't figure out how to plug in cooler's controller :S

Same just with a regular black 7900XTX and 12900KF. My cable management is myeh since it's a personal rig I could care less.

I've seen a few builds in this case and everyone of them had to remove the fans to install an AIO, maybe having them preinstalled isn't the best idea.

Getting random power spike/sudden shutdown if undervolt with 7900 XTX Nitro+ with CM SFX 850W gold plus here

If going for 1080p, get the 3060 12gb used, if going for 2k gaming, go for the RX6800 used
