@@Not-a-bot222 Just received in last week finally. I like it but I don't love it. Pros: Lovely crackles and pops if you want to on downshifts, up to you. High end revs are nice and make the car sound quick and aggressive. At highway speeds interior sound is quick normal. Carbon tips look amazing especially matching my carbon mirrors and carbon ducktail. MBRP logo sits perfectly on top of exhuast. Cons: Loud cold start. Louder than youtube would suggest. The exhaust is quite boomy at times and can get too droney when at 4k rpms dropping into 3.5k. Overall a little too loud for my perfect preference. Rating for the price. 7.5/10.
Love the sound! And thank you for showing the installation. Question - you said it does drone at speeds around 80 mph. I do a lot of highway driving, usually cruising between 70 and 80. Do you think the droning would drive a guy nuts?
I just installed this system. IO was wondering if you installed the silver flat gasket that came from mbrp. No gasket on orig system, just the round oring on mine.
I currently have only the MBRP Axleback exhaust, Will I be able to use the remark or PLM midpipe? I want to make sure the fitment will be fine with this axleback
Awesome video! At what RPM would you say you really notice a noise difference from stock? I'm looking for something civilized for when I'm below ~4000 rpm but a little more excitement when I wind it out?
Thanks 4 video; dig it! In an axle-back exhaust install such this, when one does away with the stock muffler, does that pose an issue as far as passing emissions test (or smog test I guess), for when DMV registration comes around?
Is this the armor pro series and also hiw many clips came with it? My system first came to me with clips missing. Had the chase the company down. Just recieved clips but only 2. Thanks
@@rallysportdirect Am I missing something? I installed the exact same exhaust on my car and i hear a loud noise which sounds like drone at about 2k and 3krpm. Is this drone or something else?
@@AndreNguyen7 i ended up putting some dynomat in the trunk area and the "drone" is almost gone! I think the noise i was hearing was just the loud vibration of the trunk area since it's not very well insulated. I don't think I have any videos of when it made the noises, sorry.
@@parisledog168 Thanks for your personal experience. I'm stuck between saving for a full catback system or just getting the MBRP axel-back. I'm not a performance guy lol. Just want a low growl.
Nice Pops... this exhaust is amazing. However lack of catback could have warranty issue. Maybe after warranty period expiration. This system would be good.
I dig all the humor in this video! Watched the whole thing to the end and didn't want to skip a second. Great work!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Appreciate the use of dB meter in vids even on stock vehicles. Helps in comparing how much over legal limit all these are.
It pops and crackles! This is amazing!
Great video. one of the best install videos I've seen. Great instructions. sounds good too.
Wow, a variant of the Utah Jazz City logo that I made, for RSD social, years ago is now on a shirt.
I miss you PK
@@RileyDevereaux I miss you TOOOOO 😭
After hearing those crackles and pops on the downshifts I was sold. Purchased this exhaust last night. Super stoked to install it.
Just ordered mine today. How do you like
Yours ?

@@PBrooksSawyer really appreciate your detailed description of your experience
@@PBrooksSawyerI second that on the cold start! I still really like the exhaust but I wanna get a deeper tone

How bout cold start ? How loud is it?
Yo how can we comp some of those classic rallysport direct license plate frames?

Honestly at every RPM but it is extremely livable with, isn't loud by any means when just cruising around town.

Nice review. I'm considering getting this for my GR 86. My concern was with drone. Doesn't seem to be an issue.
I was really surprised that there was virtually no drone whatsoever

Is there any difference between this and the "MBRP 2.5" Axle-Back, Dual Split Rear, T304 Stainless Steel w/ Burnt End Tips" other than the tips?
is this better than remark axle back?
I’m have the same question
From what I’ve heard remark has too much done, this in my experience barely does and that’s why I went with it… plus it looks way better
Thanks!
Nice video

I can’t stand those tip covers that’s become common
I prefer rolled tips they are cleaner and I believe prob cost more to make
Sounds and looks good 👍
No, they aren't common. They look really good
