As much as I don't get Vauxhall's at all, I agree with this. The others are proper RUclipsrs in the literal sense, but it's not exactly within most people's reach!
Another great video Arron. I also have a low mileage Arden Astra GSI that I'm gradually doing little bits on and I'll always go through your videos before I tackle them because you explain everything properly, clearly and complete with precision. Keep up the great work and I look forward to your future content and please giving us them part numbers pal 🤣😉👍

Any idea when the hoody's will be released and maybe even stickers?keep up the great work 👏
Hi, When you put the pressure on cylinder one (while changing valve seals) you don't block the crankshaft somehow? Pressure should move your piston down i think? And it will be no longer in TDC?
Greetings! please tell me the length of the belt from the generator to the crankshaft pulley! I want to redo it bypassing the air conditioning compressor and tensioner!
Top videos you make it look so easy man when can you work on my zlet i need stems dun lol keep all zlet videos you do then I can forward to my mechanic so I know will be dun to spec nice work fella
Araon I really need your help please i have a gsi I had a water leak i went to clacton for the Week end I left but checked my water for got to put the cap back on started driving about 17 miles car died I get the top head rebuild skimmed new gasket water pump all that stem seals lifters car started up starting driving for 10 mins left the car on then I heard it splatter and died and piston 2 lost compression. That what happened as my mechanic said can you help me out here what could be the problem now I was thinking rings but he said it sounded to well to be the rings and now it is had started again PLEASE HELP ME OUT!!
@@AaronUnknownPerformance Don't want to buy it bud im rebuilding a astra H vxr at the mo, not a full restore tho, you must have spent 20k + on that build, it's a lovely car buddy 👌
It depends. Anywhere from 800 euros to 1.5k. I live in Bulgaria and a friend mechanic can do my valves, head gasket and segments for 800 euros max. My engine is the 1.8 x18xe1 by the way. If you open the engine, change everything and find a guy who knows how to rebuilt engines. I was on the edge of changing my valve seals, because I had bad fuel economy and it was working shaky, but I started with the simpler things. I cleaned the EGR valve, my throttle body, the MAF sensor and I did an engine flush. If you think you have a lot of carbon build up, do like I did. I flushed the engine twice and I used Amsoil engine flush and oil. I also changed my oil sooner after the first time to clean most of the crud. After the second time my car is working like a swiss clock! The valves and top cylinders were probably carboned from all these years and now its night and day.
I'm not a auto engineer or mechanic but you said you skimmed the head. Don't you have to use an over sized head gasket to make up for the valve interference
Proper RUclipsr.... No fancy m5 or e63...
@Ryan Hamill yes
You mean proper mechanic. Dmo n llf are proper youtubers. Calling this guyba youtuber is an offence

As always, dogs bollox 🔥 🔥
Just like to know what you're running those top hose into , my breather system is stock.
External breather system
@@AaronUnknownPerformance thx , will go over you're clips. Guessing you plugged the 4mm inlet.
Might be a stupid question but do valve stems wear over time ?
Most of the wear occurs on the valve guides
Hey man, where do you buy the stem seals in the UK? Just wanna make sure I get genuine ones
Buy them from Gm themselves they are not expensive
Courtney Sport had the best price for genuine GM ones, at least compared to my local Vauxhall dealer, come in proper GM packaging.
Great video, out of interest Aaron what would the price of this car be if you sold it?
You can make me an offer. Everything has a price

Cheers Rob

The stem seals are 50£ and you can do it yourself so with the tools and without taking the head off not much more than 100-150£
About £150
Сделайте с моим опелевким движком 1.2 тоже самое!)
So clued up
O kurwa. Dobre 👍
