I'm not one to get into too many crafty things - other than scrapbooking and a making a card every now and then, but this gift card holder caught my eye, and I LOVE that you don't need a fuse to make it (mostly because I don't have one...LOL)! Thank you so much for sharing this technique!! ~Kathy
Love this idea! I have teenage nephews and nieces, and absolutely hate giving gift cards at holiday time. This could change my attitude! Please keep the wonderful ideas coming!
Hello, I have a fuse tool and yes, sometimes it can get tricky. I love, love, love making this small pouch WITHOUT THE FUSE TOOL. THE SHAKER UN THETE WITH THE GIFTCARD IS A WONDERFUL IDEA! THANK YOU FOR SHARING!!
Thank you so much for all your great tutorial. All your creations are so beautiful. I also have to thank you for showing how to make things with alternate items if we don't own the certain tools.
+mollytigger You're very welcome! I do understand that not everybody has everything, and It's fun for me to think of different ways to do things. Glad you liked the tutorial, Tfw!
Great idea as a gift card holder. I was experimenting with dollar tree clear shower liner to use on the back of a book mark. I double on the plastic, cut to size, add shaker embellishments and then machine sewed it. I decorated the book mark and it works.
This is so much easier than using the fuse tool! I am going to try this for the name cards for my families Thanksgiving table. I am sure the kids will love shaking them.
These are soooo cute!! My daughter and I discovered shaker cards and fell in love. This would be so extra mommy love if 8 used them as lunch notes for her!! Thank u for a new creative idea!! I subscribed just bc of this!!
Thank you! I did order the Fuse, it may be easier for me than the tape, I'm not very good with tape, lol. These are so pretty. I bought some happy birthday confetti ant Dollar Tree for shaker birthday cards. xoxo Joan
omigosh! So quick and easy! Thank you for breaking it down for us! So glad I don't need to run out and get a fuse tool! LOL! Love your shabby chic one! Great idea to add paper too! tfs...Hugs, Christine
This is a good way to give out business cards with our #EnvyMySkyn gift set purchases & EXTREMELY fast & simplistic...thx Tara!!! The 1st few times I watched this, I didn't even think about business cards!
Great idea! I've heard of shaker cards but they never really interested me until I saw your video on the sidebar. I'm definitely making some to give along with gifts. I've never heard of red line tape before. You really do learn something new every day. Thanks for the video. :-)
This is definitely super quick and easy! Awesome tutorial and they turned out soo super cute!! Love that you added paper and clear stickers. TFS Sheryl
Love those! I give movie gift cards all the time.. I bet you could make one up using the film strip theme somehow. Now that my head is swirling with ideas, I won't be able to go to sleep! LOL!
I watched the video loved it and as I easy re watching it I was adding all needed items to my online shopping cart and bought them all, can't wait to make these!
those are sooo stinkin cute! my bff just gave me a bunch of buttons for Easter! but I will be on the lookout for some precious ladybugs... my favorite!
These are fabulous, Tara. I love them. You decorated them so beautifully. I'm excited to see that you came up with a Fuse-free version, seeing I don't have a Fuse. Lol Thanks for another awesome project idea. Hugs, Shell
Tara thanks for sharing again! These are beautiful! Love the paper. I'll definitely will be making some but yet have to get some sleeves. You are awesome Tara!! Tracey
+Serenity Creations Thanks Ana! Girl, I saw your planner haul video and thought those were so adorable. So I went to Chandi's channel and found the YT unsubbed me from her, does that ever happen to you? Anyway, I saw hers and thought "I have to make these, how the heck am I going to do it?" Glad I figured out a way because these are so fun. Thanks for stopping by girlie, big hugs back!
Brilliant! Love my fuse, but some days my fuse lines look like my cutting and you can't hide your mistakes with a black/brown marker. Both great tutorials. Tfs
Very cute idea. Will be using this idea. I have the fuse from HSN in purple and did not work, I called and they sent a new one and still can't get it to work. I tried it on the pocket letters from Walmart but they keep opening after fusing them. I have watched videos and I am doing it right. So I gave up and have been sewing my pocket letters. LOL. Very cute how you did yours. TFS. ana
+Ana Llanes Hey Ana, Thank you! I have the purple one from hsn also and haven't had a problem. I wonder if your tip wasn't on tightly enough, or maybe you may need to go over the area a couple times. On my last shaker gift card tutorial you'll see it took me several times going back and forth before it fused all the way. But this way is much easier, so I hope you give it a try. Tfw!
I love how you always look for quick and alternative options for those of us that don't have certain tools. These are awesome Tara and thanks for the tutorial :-) {{hugs}} Steff
Oh Yes, Love the tape method !! Much faster. Also, like the paper inside the pocket as well. { You Are the Woman} LOL Really, you are so very helpful and I appreciate you taking the time to share. Take Care .. Hugs, Carolyn
Your so welcome thank you for sharing your awesome craft want I saw your first one on this I was like I have to find one too Amazon also has them but it was cheaper at Walmart by three dollars again thank you for sharing your awesome videos
I love it because The tape is much easy im going to both store and hope they still have some of the two side color tape. How do you make the shaker with the bubble. Thank you for the video this is Dec 29,2018
Hi Tara , how are you doing ? I love your tutorial. so super easy and cute. I love them. Yes would love to see you do the themes that is super cool. thanks for sharing 😊 love it!!!!
Good morning Tara, I plan on participating in a craft show here in my home town and I would like to make some of these to sell at the craft show. My question is how much would you recommend that I sell them for?
That's a hard question to answer as I think your location and type of craft show will determine what price people are willing to pay. I think for starters you need to calculate what your supplies cost and also factor in the time you spend making them and how much you want to pay yourself, that should give you a good starting point. Hope that helps.
Hi again Tara... Is there a way you can make this into a money holder instead of a gift card holder. I have been watching you over and over and over again, trying to make one, and I can not seem to get the measurements right. And it is so super hard to see where to put the tape. Thank you again so much. Have a fun evening. Surie
+KINDERKRAFTS Hi Surie, I actually saw a couple ladies on here make these to fit money. If I find the video I'll let you know, but maybe try searching for shaker money holders, hopefully a couple videos will pop up.
Thanks for this tutorial! I was going to buy a fuse because of the first one! Thanks for sharing, keep up the wonderful crafting work! By the way, where do you buy the sequins mix, I would like to try this but I don't have any sequins? Thanks in advance!
+Unheard03 You're welcome! Thank you for the compliment. I get all my sequins from Cartwright's Sequins. I just posted my most recent haul from them, but I have a few others if you want to check them out for more info and an up close look at the sequins. Tfw!
Love your videos and was wondering if you could make so of the other items that the lady maked like this sharper card and show how to make them cause she don't show how to them and you explain things so so very well.

I have been watching you over and over and over again, trying to make one, and I can not seem to get the measurements right. And it is so super hard to see where to put the tape.
Thank you again so much.
