We tried the double steal play every time we had the chance in little league. Our coach taught us when the other team tried to do it, our catcher would fake the throw to second and fire down to third. we usually tagged the runner out at third trying to get back, but the rest of the time we had pretty good luck getting the throw from third back to the catcher in time.
can't believe the pros would think they could routinely get a throw back from second in time...

actually i would like to ask if for 6:18 that situation, the pitcher doesnt step off the pitcher plate and continue his pitching motion, and the catcher step forward to the homeplate as third runner trying to steal home.
then 1) is that still count as a pitch, that means either a ball / strike should be given after that "throw"?
    2) can the batter actually genteelly swing his bat and contact with the catcher so that it's catcher interference?
my main concern is that, i believe if the pitcher step off the pitcher plate before throwing to home plate, then it would be similar to picking off a runner. but then if the pitcher doesnt step off so it should still be a legit normal pitch?
