thank you so much. i type this thru teary eyes....my mother worked at the Inn as a waitress in the 60's. i spent countless days here as a child and are some of my fondest memories. as our family currently faces a tragedy i was looking for a reminder of happier and simpler times. thank you. i found them.
Thank you so much for this wonderful video. My dad jumped there in the 50's and 60's and I jumped there from 1970 until 1989. Holy ground for me. best times of my life. Thank you again. Mark Levasseur
How about the big jump off the cliff on the side of the mountain in Salisbury Mills, NY where many gathered in the 40s and early 50s? Anybody remember that location, favored by many Scandanavians. I believe they named that location after Togre.
not 1959. Jan 7th, 1959 fell on a wednesday not a sunday as the sign states. There is a 64 Mercury Monterey in the picture so it's after 1964. Probably 1968
Bob - thanks for the detective work, and you’re clearly right this could not have been 1959. Not sure where I missed this, was going off my fathers notes on the film canisters. At some point I’ll update the text (cant update the actual film). All the best… David
