    • १ १/२ लिटर दूध
    • १/२ कप आंबेमोहोर तांदूळ
    • १/४ कप पाणी
    • सुक्यामेव्याचे तुकडे (बदाम आणि काजू)

    तांदळाची खीर, श्राद्धात बनवली जाणारी तांदळाची खीर, १ किलो तांदळाची खीर, फिरनी, खीर, बासुंदी, रव्याची खीर, गव्हाची खीर, tandalchi kheer, ravyachi kheer, basundi, gavhachi kheer
    Today we will make tandalachi kheer for 10 people. For piturpaksha the main recipe is tandalachi kheer. This is the perfect proportion. This recipe doesn’t need lot many ingredients. You can make it from very few ingredients those are readily available in your kitchen. It looks nice and tastes just awesome. You can make it on some other day than pitrupaksha too. It can be a good dessert option. We have already seen many pitrupaksh recipes. This is yet another addition to the list. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me.     Ingredients:
    • 1 1/2 liter Milk
    • 1/2 cup Ambemohor rice
    • 1/4 cup Water
    • Chopped Dry nuts (Almonds and Cashew nuts)
    • Few Saffron strands (Optional)
    • 3/4 cup Sugar
    • 1 tsp Chironji
    • Grated fresh Coconut
    • Cardamom powder
    Method:
    • Heat up milk on medium heat and bring it to boil.
    • Wash rice really good and and transfer it into a blender jar.
    • You can use Indrayani or basmati rice in place of Ambemohor rice.
    • Add water and blend it into coarse paste.
    • Add the rice paste into the boiling milk and mix well.
    • Add dry nuts and mix well.
    • You can fry the dry nuts before adding if you want.
    • Cook the mixture on medium heat for about 15 minutes until rice is cooked well.
    • Stir it continuously while cooking.
    • When rice is almost cooked add saffron strands and mix well.
    • Adding saffron is optional. You can skip it if you don’t want.
    • Continue cooking until rice is completely cooked for about 15 minutes.
    • Add sugar, chironji, fresh coconut and mix well.
    • You can decide the proportion of sugar according to your taste.
    • You can skip the fresh coconut if you are making the kheer on any other occasion.
    • Cook the kheer for another 5 minutes until sugar is dissolved.
    • Turn off the gas and add cardamom powder.
    • Mix well and tandalachi kheer is ready.
    • This is enough for 10 people. If you want to make kheer for 7-8 people, then use 1 liter milk and
    little less than 1/2 cup rice. Reduce the sugar accordingly.
