He’s not able to process sensory cues. He liked the taste of the potatoes but didn’t try to get more or even indicate that he wanted more. He didn’t even turn his body in the direction of the bowl. He didn’t reach for the spoon. He doesn’t blink even if something is in his face which is an involuntary reaction. Wow. 😢
It's like the food comes she starts panicking because the baby is giving zero reaction to food in front of them. Obviously she doesn't eat like this with him regularly because he would have had that plate. Or he just can't see the plate. And that's heartbreaking.
I've been a social worker for over 10 years. This child is unfortunately developmentally delayed (maybe blind/Autistic). The mum/child interaction at 7:19 is 0% child should be able to play peek-a-boo, but doesn't respond AT ALL as she's got him up kissing his face. She's in denial. Given there's potentially enough evidence to suggest she substance misused during pregnancy, she should be prosecuted.

I don't understand why Chrisean didn't stop what she did while she was pregnant, she was talking about how she actually wanted a child but look how she did him and how he came out. She was fighting, drinking,smoking,stressing while she was pregnant. Now look at your child. I think she's slow or stupid because she knows what she puts up with,how she acts and the choices she makes. And for her to sit here and act like everything is normal is a shame.

she aint feed him the potatoes bc the spoon was too big? like girl ... the definition of being a mom is improvising ... also carry EVERYTHING in your diaper bag .. creams, thermometer, diapers, wipes, spoons, extra snacks, etc etc etc .. He got mashed potatoes all over his lil face and she only fed him one bite and gave up .. its new to them so of course they will act puzzled with it at first. By 8 months your baby should be eating a VARIETY of foods along with 3-4 4oz bottles in a day, sitting up on their own, reaching & grabbing for food, & opening their mouths trying to eat it ... bless his heart I hope he is just delayed bc of poor parenting and nothing serious or life altering

Oh no 😢 im sorry but at 7-8 months, there should be way WAYYYY more movement and interaction. When I found out at 3 weeks that I was pregnant, i stopped all smoking and drinking. I wanted to give my daughter the best chance in life to make it. Seeing things like this make me so happy i did what was right to keep her safe 😢

My baby is 7 months old her hands are still clinched but she wiggles her fingers a lot and I also have to keep her from trying to pull my plate down because she wants to touch and put everything in her mouth once she grabs a hold of it with the death grip.. I’m not a doctor nor do I want to compare anyone else’s child to mine because just like ever pregnancy is different ever child is different and it would hurt my feelings if people talked about my baby this badly but to be frank he seems like a 2-3 month old baby he’s not very alert my baby’s eyes were like this in the early weeks and I thought she was going to be crossed eye until my sister told me that it takes time for her to gain control. Anyhow I said all that to say this her baby doesn’t seem like he is functioning the way my baby does and they are the same age I hope she get him looked at, it’s hard to know your baby could be in trouble but I would need to know so I could help him.
